  • Growing up in Australia listening to the tales of bravery and valour shown by both sides at Gallipoli in 1915, it was only natural that it was one of the first places I should visit in Turkey. This is the French Military Cemetery and it was so incredibly peaceful, it was one of my favourite places. It is beautifully tended, with lovely views out over the sea and I was the only person there - probably because it was the middle of winter! I will go back here and spend a few days self driving in order to spend more time in places like this. I am glad i did a tour that first day though, being both pushed for time and interested to hear the Turkish perspective from my very knowledgeable guide.

Authentic village next to Gallipoli war sites

We really liked the location. It’s in a traditional old Turkish village, which is perfect if you’re looking for a more authentic experience. It’s also very close to the Gallipoli war sites. The food is local, and most of the ingredients come from the hosts’ own garden. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working.

Güzel konum

Gördüğüm en temiz oteldi. Konumu çok güzel. Birinci gün boğaz tarafını, ikinci gün körfez tarafını gezdik. Tam ortasında 57. Alayın hemen arkası oluyor. Kahvaltı ideal ne çok abartı ne az, her şey olması gerektiği gibi. Tavsiye ederim.

Yeni bir otel olup, odalar oldukça ferah ve temizdi. Otelin konumu, tasarımı ve bahçesi oldukça hoş. Ayrıca el yapımı ürünleri ile kahvaltısına da bayıldık. Akşam yemeğimizi de burada aldık gerçekten ellerine sağlık çok lezzetliydi. Bu bölgede gözünüz kapalı tercih edeceğiniz ilk otel olabilir.

Güzel bir iki gün geçirdik

2 günlük bayram tatilimiz için tercih ettik. Güzel bir köyde, sakin, havası temiz bir konumda. 15 dk ile 30 dk arası çok güzel plajlar var. Şehitliklere de yakın. Güzel bir aile işletmesi. Çok iyi insanlar. Otelde kaldığımız sürede uzun bir süre elektrik kesintisi oldu fakat işletme kaynaklı değildi. Mağduriyetimizi gidermek için oldukça çaba gösterdiler. Kahvaltısı mükemmeldi. Peynir, reçeller, ekmekler yeterli ve çok kaliteli. Memnun aydıldık. Tekrar tercih edebileceğim otel.
