The cabin was beautiful. Kids enjoyed staying in the loft beds. Having the dock right there, the kids were able to fish. The host communicated very well and gave us extra checkout time. Would definitely recommend it.
We had a wonderful time at this picture perfect cabin on the lake. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be, and my husband especially appreciated excellent wifi. The loft upstairs is great for mid - older children and we also enjoyed playing board games by the fire almost every evening when we came back from all we had planned for our vacation. Loved it!!
This property was a short distance from my sister-in-law’s cabin. We were able to come and go every day and visit with family. Billie was an excellent host, who was caring, and considerate. The view from the cabin is just so lovely. Wish we could come back in the summer to truly enjoy the water, but we were very glad to spend Christmas with extended family.
Our family of seven had a blast here! Billie is a phenomenal host who is in contact when you book about things to do, she even had fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we arrived. The property is well stocked with everything you need for cooking meals. The lake was a blast for all of us and we were able to put our boat in at the campground and leave it at the dock in front of the house. We enjoyed nightly fires, the covered porch, bbqing, exploring the hiking trails, playing scrabble on the large table and spending time together. Don’t overpack with extras bc this home is truly well stocked. We did bring our own lounge chairs for sitting down by the lake and a hammock. Billie is the type of host that if you need anything during your stay, she would provide it.
We really enjoyed our stay. Nice big dining table for board games. The kitchen is very well stocked with many extras like waffle iron, air pooper, etc. The host couldn't be nicer. I mentioned it was my birthday and she put up a sign and banner and left me a card. 💖 We went in the winter but this would be an amazing place in the warm weather!
Perfect location to relax and getaway from the busy city life. The place has everything you need from lake access, fire pit, bbq, full kitchen, awesome gas fireplace, tv, WiFi, and a loft for the kids to play in. The host was very kind and even brought fresh cookies! Couldn’t ask for anything more…except maybe more time here.
We really enjoyed the location. The views of the lake are amazing! Great family time (my wife and I with our two adult daughter and 1 grand daughter). 2 bedrooms downstairs we're great and upstairs loft was great for our 4 year old grand daughter (and her Mom). Owner/prop mngr was super nice. We are planning on returning next year!
It was a nice quiet location right on the lake. Close enough to the city if you want, but far enough away to enjoy the solitude of lake and mountains. Highly recommend!
We have rented this cabin for a week, 2 years in a row. We absolutely love it!! The cutest cabin in the world :) We love to sit in the rocking chairs by the beautiful fireplace, look out the windows at the ducks on the lake, and play family games together! Such fun memories have been made here, a wonderful place.
This place was absolutely perfect for our party of 6 adults. Well stocked with everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Cozy beds.
The lake view is the best part!! Complete with a fire pit and dock. When it rained there’s a lovely fireplace indoors. Billie is a great host with an impeccable house. We will definitely be back❤️
The fotos tell it all- kind of a funky staircase, but an otherwise perfect home and setting. The lake is super quiet in the morning and the water skiers come in the afternoon. The kayaks worked great. The swimming was perfect for our grandchildren, ages 11 and 12. The stairs were not a problem for them and they had the loft to themselves. The manager was extremely attentive; just great.
This property is perfect for a family getaway and right on the water. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Billie is a wonderful host and so accommodating. We will be back for sure!!! Thank you!!
We rented this house for a week in July. It is the quintessential cute lake cabin on a beautiful full sport lake. Great for swimming and boating. The kids loves the sleeping loft which felt like their clubhouse. The stairs are more of a ladder as the pics show and my 6 And 9 yo could manage them safely. We have already booked for another week!
We spent five wonderful days at this cabin on the lake! The cabin had everything we needed and Billie was such a hospitable hostess. The water is easily accessible, which made getting in and out of kayaks a breeze. The stairs to the loft are more like a slanted ladder, so would not be an option for someone with mobility issues. We saw deer, eagles, ducks, geese, and a comet! Would gladly stay again.
Our family of 5 adults loved our week in this charming cabin, plenty of space and comfortable beds for a good night's rest. We loved exploring the lake with the kayaks provided and swam too. We hiked the Green Lake trail in Mt Rainier national park (trailhead only 1 hour away) and Little Mashel falls (25 minutes away) - both beautiful hikes. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals. Billie is a welcoming and attentive host.
This cabin is like a tardis - bigger on the inside :) It's small but somehow the space was perfectly filled with everything we could possibly need. The living area feels large and open, with a great view of the lake. The kitchen had an abundance of dishes, utensils and small kitchen appliances, all in great condition - even the pots and pans (which is not a given in a vacation home). Only thing missing was a dishwasher, but we made it a family affair to clean dishes after each meal and it actually was fun and a good learning experince for our kids ;) The living and dining area were cozy and inviting, and surprisingly spacious. Downstairs also has 2 bedrooms, which are small, but beds are big and comfortable and one bathroom with shower and again everything you could possibly need, including hair dryer, shampoo, first aid kit and more. There are small, VERY STEEP steps to the upstairs, which hold another 4-5 beds. The upstairs has a low ceiling, so it's not possible to stand upright, but we only spent time up there to sleep, so it was not a big deal. There is an AC unit and plenty of fans to help keep the cabin cool on the warmer days. The best part is the outdoors though - it was lovely to sit on the dock in the early morning and enjoy a cup of coffee. Right outside the living area is the patio with plenty of space to sit or lie down or enjoy the hamock seats. We had all meals out on the patio. There is a BBQ and some outdoor games (ladder toss) and of course the fire pit (with plenty of firewood provided).
Billie is an excellent host as well, starting with being availble for questions before our trip, to a wonderful welcome at the cabin. I mentioned to her that we came to celebrate my sons graduation and birthday - when we opened the door we were greated by balloons and cookies. It was such a nice surprise and started our stay on a perfect note. She also made sure kayaks were there before we arrived (we visited early summer) and checked in during our stay to make sure we were happy.
We spend our time playing games (also provided), kayaking and fishing, reading and just enjoying some quality family times. One day we drove up to Paradise and explored the beauty of Mt. Rainier NP. Overall I can only recommend the Bear Cabin. We had a lovely time and hope to be back.
