Enjoy cooking smores on the firepit. This is a perfect place for children. Large open lakeside yard for fun and games. (cornhole, hook & ring toss game, horse shoes, badminton & ladder ball) Private beach makes easy access to launch the kayaks. (2 adult size, 2 children), and two paddleboards. Plenty of eating space available (28 spaces inside & out). Get ready to grill those juicy steaks! Brand new Large Weber Gas Grill/Charcoal Grill/Gas Fish Cooker,. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of pots & pans & utensils as this is our own personal vacation home. Plenty of places to relax outside - Glider, swing on porch, hammock chair swing & also swing right by the lake. Plenty of board games & DVD movies. Bring your own groceries, relax & enjoy! Forget Something? Convenience store only 1/4 mile from entrance of subdivision. 3 Queen Beds, 2 sets Bunkbeds, 3 Futons. Queen bed on main & in basement have brand new mattresses. Master bedroom has Sleep Number Bed. All bedrooms contain Sleep Mate Sound Machines.

Great place!
Really nice house and location. We do wish there had been internet access at the house but the clubhouse internet was fine. Not super close to restaurants or golf courses but still a nice stay and would stay again

Thanksgiving Getaway
We had our family Thanksgiving gather at the Powell's cabin. What a treat! We fished, played board games, grilled outside, played corn hole, cooked, ate too much, and made some special family memories together. The cabin was equipped with everything and then some! We will definitely be back! God Bless!

Perfect lake getaway
My husband and I, along with our two kids had a great stay at Kathy’s. We even extended our stay an extra 2 nights! We were there for the 4th of July and met up with our friends staying across the lake. The house has everything you need. The AC was cold, the showers were hot, and the beds were super comfortable! Unfortunately there is no wifi (i heard that it is coming soon to that side of the lake) but we managed to get it at our friend’s house. We would definitely stay again! We loved Lake Sinclair!! Thanks for everything Kathy!

Great Cabin
This was our second year at the Cabin. As before, we truly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of everything you will need: Pots, pans, towels, blankets, and water toys. Plenty of room to visit or have time to yourself. Great cabin to stay at. Thanks,for allowing us to stay again this year

The property was just as it was described.
It was awesome. Our grandchildren enjoyed themselves. They fished, kayek and found a turtle to bring home. My husband has knee issues but being on the lower level was just what he needed to enjoy. The house is so spacious that you are able to have quite time and enjoy. We plan to return very soon.

SOOO COZY
We LOVED this cabin! We spent Christmas here and it was Perfect! The basement is a great gathering space to play board games and watch football. The view of the lake was amazing. Mrs. Kathy was a perfect host. We will be trying to rent for the summer for sure!

I Would Give 10 Stars if I Could
We had an absolutely amazing time on the lake for our Birthday Celebration! This property has everything you could need and more! There were plenty of towels, extra linens, beach towels, and extra blankets. The pantry was stocked with spices, sugar, popcorn, cooking oils and much more. The fridge had condiments, so we didn’t need any of that kind of stuff either. The place is clean and cozy with a ton of room! There are 7 beds, and 3 futons to sleep on. I loved the rooms with the queen bed plus bunk beds. They were perfect for our kids. The downstairs closet has tons of yard games to play after a day on the water. The water toys were awesome, especially the smaller kayaks. My 5 year old had a blast kayaking on his own. We all loved the dock and floats, and truly could not have asked for more. Not having wifi wasn’t even on our minds. I actually loved it because it kept my teens present with our family and we all enjoyed each other. I was so sad to leave, I cried. Thank you, Powell family for sharing your home with us. We are so grateful. ♥️

A place to make memories
This place is a memory maker. There is so much to do at this cabin you won’t need to leave unless you run out of something. The 3 floors let people feel like they have their own cabin but you are still all together as a family You can tell the owners take great pride in this cabin as it was beautiful

This property is amazing! The screened in porch, the swing, and all the paddle boards really kept our family of all ages entertained. The air conditioner works great considering the loft and upstair bedroom. Plenty of room - everywhere! The house felt like home actually; it just had an inviting feel to it. The picnic table on the screened in porch was perfect for the kids which were ages 7 - 13. If I had to say anything negative, it wld not be concerning the home! The drive to the nearest towns, besides Sparta, is at least 35mins. So, make sure you come with as much as possible before you get to the home! Will be interested in staying here again if we plan another lake trip! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The perfect family lake vacation
We have been renting on lake sinclair and lake oconnee for a few years now. Each visit we stay at a different house but this one was by far one of our favorites! We loved that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each of the 3 floors so our 3 families could spread out. The house itself was SO organized and clean and all of the linens smelled amazing. It had more games, movies, and outdoor lake toys than we had time to use. The personal beach and shallow water were perfect for our young kids to swim and play in. And there were plenty of seating areas if adults just wanted to supervise and not necessarily get in. On top of this gem of a property the host was so accommodating and welcoming. She made herself available via text if we needed anything or had questions. And even after leaving behind a couple of personal items she worked with us to get them shipped back. We can't wait to visit again!

Great Time
We would like to thank the Powells for allowing us to use their vacation home. We had a great time. We all enjoyed swimming, fishing, playing around on the blue mat, kayaking, playing the corn hole game and just spending time together. Their home was so nice, roomy, and comfortable. They furnish everything you could possibly need. The home had comfortable beds, plenty of pots and pans to fix meals, and plenty of space to go, if you just want some time to yourself. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Great Getaway
The Powell Lakehouse is exactly how it’s listed. The cabin is set up nicely so you can be together as a group or separate for alone time. The location was great and the fishing was great. We enjoyed the nice selection of board games as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. Would recommend this rental to anyone who is wanting to unplug (there is no WiFi and phone service is sketchy) and be present with friends and family, it was wonderful, will definitely consider renting again.

Relaxing weekend getaway
Such a cozy & relaxing weekend retreat! Our family of 3 boys (14, 12, 10) loved our weekend at the lake. I picked this house specifically for the outdoor amenities and it did not disappoint. I felt very comfortable with the boys paddling around the cove, enjoying the kayaks & paddleboards. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to unwind and just enjoy being together. We will definitely return!

Cozy & Cute Lake Cabin
This cozy lake cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I & our three girls (ages 5, 10 and almost 12.)The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The towels that were placed out looked brand new and everything looked spotless & clean. My kids loved the rustic decor & all of the wildlife displayed in the house- They thought the deer, ducks and goose were great but especially loved the bobcat & beaver in the upstairs loft! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep & the kids loved the bunk beds! The Sleep Number Bed in the Master was perfect for us as we have one at home and love it! Our girls loved the kid’s kayaks and we used the adult size kayaks next to them which was a lot of fun. Each of our girls enjoyed the beach and building sand castles while we relaxed and had drinks on the beach. Our five year old loved that she could stand up in the water and play by herself by the beach– we loved the easy access to the water for safety! We all enjoyed fishing and our youngest even caught a 4 lb. catfish on her “Barbie Fishing Pole!” The large grill was great (looked brand new) – was more than enough room for all of our hamburgers & hotdogs for a big family. The kitchen was well-stocked with more than we needed. At night we enjoyed family game night with the board games provided and also enjoyed watching movies on the big screen tv in the basement. There is a large selection of movies there to choose from. There is also a very cool rock firepit outside that the girls loved roasting marshmallows over. Overall it was a terrific stay and we WILL be going back!

Location was beautiful. lake was nice. However, the house needed cleaning. It hadn’t been used in two months and there was tons of dust on the couches. People were sneezing and had stuffy noses when they sat on furniture too long. Dead roaches were found in bathtub, kitchen and family room. Owner said housekeeper had come by a few days prior but it didn’t seem like it. I did enjoy the view and the backyard.

This is a nice home in a beautiful location. Very comfortable space with lots of outdoor activity options. The negatives for our group were: **NO WIFI OR INTERNET CONNECTION **Extremely limited cellphone service **Very old coffeemaker that took WAY too long to brew a pot of coffee (particularly when you need multiple pots made for a group of 11 adults) **Grills - VERY DIRTY and too small for a home this size where you would potentially be cooking for a large group

Lake House Get Away!
Lake Sinclair is HUGE, mostly made up of multitude of channels along with connection to long lake. This is a true get away with closest "city" Sparta 15 miles away (30 minute drive) and Middleville, (45 minute drive). Almost zero Wi-Fi and spotty cell service. Be Prepared to disconnect!
