Please note that rates are dynamic, and during busy times, rates are going to be a bit higher. We recommend checking out our super low rates during slower times of the year if you're looking for built-in discounts. Also, rates can be variable based on when you book, the platform from which you book, occupancy, etc. You can always give us a call to inquire on pricing. 2. We are sorry for any power issues. There was a power issue on the mainland during your stay, and power was restored to all the islands later in the evening. We do apologize for this. 3. The unit you reserved has electric baseboard heat in all rooms and also a wood burning stove. 4. Store hours during your stay were 8:30AM - 5PM Mon-Thurs, and 8AM - 6PM Fri and Sat. Store hours are posted on the store door and also listed on all email correspondence. In the summer, store hours are 8AM-10PM.We are glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay, and we are sorry about any of the challenges. We hope to see you again.

We apologize for any confusion on the booking. I see you booked a Beachfront Cabin on 7/13/22 but then you cancelled that reservation. I see you then booked a Partial Sea View Cabin, and that is the unit we had reserved for you and where you stayed. We offer multiple styles of units with differing view options, and we include those details in the listings. The unit you stayed in has electric baseboard heat and also a propane stove. I understand maintenance went over the operation of the stove. Online travel agent pricing often differs from booking direct. We are sorry to hear of any issues during your stay, and we are really surprised to see some of the things mentioned in your review. Regarding cleanliness, we absolutely pride ourselves on cleanliness, and as you will see from other reviews, we get high marks. We will most certainly look into this matter to see if there was anything we could have done better. I do see on your reservation that you requested unit to be "extra clean" prior to booking. I am sorry if we did not meet those expectations for you. We professionally fog each cabin on turnover and thoroughly clean and disinfect each unit. We do advertise that this unit has a detached bunk house with bunk beds. The bed is a king suite-quality mattress with triple sheeting and deluxe pima cotton sheets. We have not received any prior complaints about this bed being uncomfortable, so we are surprised to hear you mention this. I also see you stayed on Memorial Day 2021. Note that this is a peak season rate. You might be interested in staying with us during the off-season when the rates are lower.
