You'll be less than two miles from Moran State Park, a spectacular expanse where you can go for a paddle on Cascade Lake or climb Mt. Constitution to get one of the best views of Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands. The island's main town of Eastsound, offering great restaurants, a bakery, shops, and a grocery store, is only six miles north, and the ferry terminal is within a 14-mile drive.



It's glorious to begin each day here, deciding whether to spend it hiking, kayaking, whale watching, or taking a scenic drive. There's no kitchen, but you can prepare a simple breakfast using the mini-fridge, convection oven, and coffee maker.
