"Place was great for us and the kids. It's small but enough room where you don't feel cooped up and ar bumping into eachother. House is clean and stocked with everything you need (linens, towels, beach supplies and even sunscreen) unlike many other places. Beach was great at high tide to swim. Low tide was nice but had to walk really far out to cool off. Was happy to have AC/minisplit to cool off with this heat. Would definitely come again."

"I really love staying at the Velvet Crab. This was my third stay. Waking up to views of a nearby lake. Minutes from beaches. Dog friendly.
The the Heart of Cape Cod team provides all the amenities- WiFi and Roku. Fully equipped kitchen. Kayak on the lake. Outdoor grill. Dog crate on request. Even dog bowls and treats. Tara brought a blender right over when I requested one. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation.
My pup and I will definitely be coming back."

"This was our second time staying here. Melanie & John are so nice! The room was was very clean. The landscaping on the property is beautiful. We took advantage of the pool after being at the beach all day. Very refreshing.The breakfast buffet had a great variety of food. The breakfast conversations were by far the most fun part of our stay! Can’t wait to go back.
