"I just needed a place to stay for one night close to the airport and Quality Inn fit the bill. This place is really basic, no bells or whistles, but it was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. I did not have the free breakfast but I did utilize the airport shuttle, which was great and arrived in only about 10 minutes after I called for it. Would recommend for a short stay."

"Nice, place, would I stay here again? Doubtful. I really just don't understand the need to charge for parking. It's not like it's a shared parking lot. Just another reason to squeeze more money out of the customer. Really ridiculous, especially when there are so many hotels in the Raliegh area to choose from. I paid extra for the hospitality suite access, however it was closed, no reason given. Was told to get something from the market & tell them at the desk. That's all well & good, but no one feels like waiting for an elevator to go to the lobby & have to explain what you were told about the access to the front desk staff. Disappointing to say the least. Parking should have been refunded in lieu of the lack of hospitality suite access."

"Our third stay at the Umstead, and just for a night. But you really can't beat this property. I couldn't think of a negative aspect if you paid me! We LOVE treating ourselves to a stay at the Umstead - especially in the summer when we can take advantage of the pool!"
