"Things at this property were as described in the listing - no surprises. It is an older property, but clean and well stocked in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Also plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and 2 good sized bathrooms . Good communication from the owner from the time we booked until we checked out - he also provided a nice welcome basket of goodies. The Internet went down one day while we were out, but John had the cable company out there before we even realized there was a problem. Pool was nice and there was plenty of chairs for the patio area along with a couple of tables. We were surprised one morning when we looked out and saw someone cleaning the pool though. Wasn't expecting that, but it may have been covered in the welcome book and we just missed it. Only complaint at the pool is there is no hand rail at the steps. Not an issue for the younger crowd, but a little awkward getting in/out for us older people. We were looking for a place that wasn't in the tourist areas, but was still fairly close to attractions. It was about a 35-40 minute drive to Disney, SeaWorld, Airboat Rides, and the Kennedy Space Center so it was pretty centralized for us and is also only about 25 minutes from Sanford airport. Not many chain restaurants in the immediate area so be sure to check out the local places. Found Las Carretas next to Publix when we were stocking up for the week - won't find a better Mexican restaurant anywhere! "

"This hotel was the worse hotel ive ever stayed in. We came in at night no one was there at the front so i had to use a phone on the wall to dial 0 to reach someone.When they answered, the person seemed just aggravated that she had a customer. Then, she hardly spoke but maybe a sentence to me to tell me what room i was in. When we got to our room, walking through the building, it was gross ,it smelled, and the people that were there looked like they were drug addicts and drug dealers. Luckily, we only had it for a night so my hubby said we should just stick it out. The bed was terrible if i didnt have back problems before i certainly do now... Just a terrible experience it was run down looking and nothing like what the pictures suggested it to be. If youre thinking on booking with this hotel....DONT!!!"

"The property host was easy to get a hold of and addressed issues quickly. There wasn’t a coffee pot in the cottage when we arrived, so I alerted the host and he provided a new one that evening. When I alerted him that the A/C wasn’t working he did refund for the last two nights. He was apologetic and tried to have it fixed immediately, however he was not able to. Not for lack of effort. The only downsides were, the backyard property and yard surrounding the cottage needed to be cleaned up. Blinds need replacing and some outlets were not working, towel rack in bathroom broken, toilet not secure, floor mat in bathroom needs replacing. Place needs some TLC. Lastly parking is on a first come first serve basis. Guest will need to park out in street if someone is parked in the driveway. This can be somewhat difficult for someone who has difficulty walking any distances. "

"What a treasure! The property has everything you would need to take a short term or long term vacation, ours was one month. We found 4 beds/4 baths to be more than ample. The property was very clean and well kept. There were necessities if you wanted to cook any meal, a lovely coffee station, and incidentals that allowed you to wash your own clothes, run the dishwasher, relax in the sun by the pool, and multiple options for eating out and activities galore. We especially liked the huge park just one block away with paved paths, large lake and shelters and benches for picnics and resting.And our hosts!!! They are incredible: what a welcome that awaited us when we landed quite late: beverages, a charcuterie tray, a huge bouquet of fresh flowers and even dessert! This was our 2nd visit to this property, 2 years in a row for a month. We would highly recommend it for your next visit to Orlando, Florida."

"The host was communicative before our stay, which initially gave me confidence in the booking. However, on the day of check-in — after the scheduled check-in time — they informed me that the property was overbooked and cancelled our reservation.This left us stranded with nowhere to stay and scrambling to find last-minute accommodations in the area. We ended up having to stay at a very unsettling motel, which completely disrupted our plans and experience.Cancelling on guests after check-in time due to overbooking is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. "
