Very functional quiet apartment style rental. Great location in Goodspeed Landing.Perfect for theatre/dinner- coffee shop up the hill.Highly recommended!!

Great Spot!

Such a clean, cozy, comfortable stay and a great location in town. We loved it! The beds were so comfortable, too, and communication with the host was lovely and easy!

Perfect Location - Adorable Place

We had a great stay there. The place is so cute and comfortable. I loved the way it was decorated. Only negative was rhe wifi, but that is a l8cation problem - all around town. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Wedding stay - perfect spot

We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby River House and it was perfect. We were super close to the venue, the place was cozy but large enough to be comfortable and was clean. We cooked dinner and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We even walked to the Gelston House for a nightcap on their back deck. It was a great location and nice stay.

If you are visiting for a show at the Goodspeed Opera House or just looking for a convenient spot to stay and enjoy the river valley, this is a great place. Walking distance to the inn and theater, and easy over the bridge and all directions up and down the river. Enjoy!

Enchanting East Haddam

Spotless and comfortable accommodations set right in the center of historic and picturesque East Haddam, CT. The young couple who kept the driveway, walks, and parking area free of snow and ice were especially appreciated. It was warm and cozy. Very satisfying and delightful stay. Thank you!

Outstanding accommodation

My daughter, grandson, and I stayed here so that we could enjoy a show at The Goodspeed Opera house. We could not have asked for a nicer experience. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. The rooms were immaculate and extremely comfortable with added niceties like tea and travel size soaps. We are so happy that we booked this stay and would gladly do so again.

Lovely spot

Elizabeth has done a great job creating such a lovely spot on the river and a few doors down from the Gelston and Goidspeed Opera house. The accommodations were comfortable and very convenient as we were visiting our daughter who works for Goodspeed. We had some confusion with our checking in process however Elizabeth was quick to rectify, very generous and gracious making all things right. Our stay was a blessing.

Positives: Good condition, clean, comfortable, as advertised, well appointed. Walkable to Goodspeed Opera House (Saw a great show!). Close to several state parks. Negatives were very few: Water pressure in bathroom sink was low and took a long time to warm up, but shower was great. Could use a hook or two on bathroom wall for hanging clothes.
