"We have a very high energy 8 year old boy. The staff thought the resort, more so at the front desk where so great with him. They talked with him and enjoyed his daily stories about what we did while out exploring. The staff will have us coming back for sure, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, they were very helpful when we were looking for places to go and explore. Highly recommend based on staffing alone! The resort was very clean with really nice amenities. On site restaurant, outside bar area with a fire pit. We used the comfy seating but it was pre season for the outdoor bar to be opened. They have construction going on but it didn’t impact the atmosphere or the guests comfort. The indoor pool was nice and clean, our son enjoyed swimming each day. We will go back to this resort and enjoy Newport and the places we didn’t get to see!"

"Hotel was very clean with good mattress! Super comfortable and the breakfast was well worth the nominal extra cost. The bar even had a Jazz ensemble on Saturday nite and they were excellent! Very unexpected to have entertainment! Would stay here again!"
