Falmouth House

Cape Cod, weathered, shingled, beachfront property. Located beachfront on beautiful Jenkins Pond. Walk from the back yard directly to the sandy beach! (this is a fresh water pond) Great swimming beach, windsurfing, canoeing, and fishing!

Enjoy the beautiful deck overlooking the pond and hopefully you will be treated by seeing our bald eagle that frequents the waters!! The fishing here is fabulous! There is a row boat with oars, 3 kayaks and many floating toys for your enjoyment on the water. Various life jackets also available. The huge deck offers a Weber grill with side burner, bar and stools, and comfortable seating for the whole family. From below enjoy the shaded patio with additional seating and lounging.

This property offers two levels of living area with Central heat and air conditioning. It has a full game room with slate Billiard table, Ping-Pong, A smart HD TV, built-in wet bar, and beautiful stone fireplace (Gas: off April to October) (wetbar has refrigerator and coffee maker) Double sliding glass doors are walk out to patio, yard, and beach. There is an outdoor shower as well. This level offers three bedrooms and one bathroom. The bedrooms on this level consist of Bedroom Four: one queen-size bed; Bedroom Five: one queen and one twin; Bedroom Six: two twin. Bathroom has stand-up shower.

The upper level offers a full kitchen, dining area with banquette seating, living room, three bedrooms, and a full bath. Double sliding glass doors lead to oversized deck. This deck is gated at both entrances so you have piece of mind with small children and pets. The living room has a smart HD TV and HD DVD. (Gas stove off April - October) bedrooms on this level consist of Bedroom One: one king size bed (smart led tv); Bedroom Two: one queen size bed; (smart led tv) Bedroom Three: 2 bunk beds with full over full and twin over twin, (smart led tv). Full bath with tub and shower.

Property is approximately 2000 square feet with an additional 600 square feet of outdoor decking and patio area.

Jenkins pond is approximately two miles round (you can walk or bike all the way around). Property is located approximately four miles to Falmouth Center. If you want the OCEAN BEACHES we are ten minutes to Old Silver Beach (public parking), Surf Beach (public parking) and Falmouth Heights which is home to the finish line of the Falmouth road race! Take the Island Queen Ferry to MARTHA'S VINEYARD (departures/parking: ten minutes away).

We loved the beach front, hot tub and fire pit. We were fortunate to have excellent weather the entire stay so we were outdoors constantly. We also went 2-3 x to South Beach. The host made herself very available if needed.

We had a great time on the kayaks and playing in the water and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and had plenty of space. Location was great for dog walking trails and the bike path. Julie was an excellent host - she allowed us to check in as soon as the house was ready and communicated quickly with any of our questions. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Perfect!

This is our 3rd stay at this property and again this time it was perfect. There is plenty of sleeping space and amenities, beach and pond with kayaks and floats just made everything perfect!!

Fun was had by all!

Weall had a w What a wonderful stay we had. The house, the yard, beach and neighborhood were perfect! I left some clean cups and such on the drainer, they were a little wet from the dishwasher. Thank you for being such a great host!

Amazing spot for a larger group and a super host

Great location with its own sandy beach and plenty of water gear. 10-15 minute drive to beaches, shops and restaurants. Property looks exactly like in the listing. Our host, Julie, was amazing throughout, responding virtually immediately whenever we had a question or an issue.Would recommend considering this property to anyone coming in with a big group.

I would and have, recommended this property to everyone! I received messages from everyone asking about this location and was sure to send them the information. From booking to departing, Julie made this so easy for me. Not only was her communication amazing, but the house was PERFECT for our girls weekend. The house was clean and the amenities were great. Family vacation

Wonderful location, clean home, plenty of beds. Right on the lake with boats, kayaks, floats available at the home. Julie has excellent communication and even notified us the property would be available early check in day. Close to ice cream/downtown area. Would stay again!

Great time

We had such a great time at this house. It had everything right there, it was such a peaceful and relaxing time. The lake was so fun! The boat was perfect for little trips out to fish. The kids loved the quiet neighborhood for bike rides. It was such a great trip! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay here in July! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable and with six bedrooms, there was plenty of room for privacy for all 13 of us! Julie is very responsive to questions and concerns. The upper deck and the lower patio have perfect views of the beach and had a lovely breeze. There are plenty of boats, water toys, and chairs to enjoy at the waterfront and the water is clean and warm. And the boys all enjoyed the pool table/ping pong table and the older adults loved the bar and hot tub! We had a super week, and can’t wait to return! Thank you, Julie!

Golf weekend

Got a few friends together for a golf weekend. Stayed here and it was everything we wanted and more! Great location with a nice private beach on a fresh water lake. Plenty of bedrooms and beds, very clean and close to all amenities and golf courses. Communication was great with the owner. I highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful Cottage

We had an amazing stay at this property. Julie was very responsive. The home had everything we needed and more. The lake was so beautiful, and we loved swimming in it! When we weren’t swimming we were using the fire pit, jacuzzi, or the pool table. Thanks Julie for sharing this beautiful property. We look forward to staying again next year!

Birthday and 50th Wedding Anniversary

Hello, Our family party of 10 had a wonderful time at this property. The deck views were amazing. Lots of entertainment with pool table, paddle board and kayaks. Plenty of space for us to be comfortable in. The water access was awesome and we appreciated the fenced in yard. We would highly recommend.

Perfect for active families

This lovely house by the lake comes with every possible implement to play in the water from its own private beach. Fire pit, billiard and ping pong table allowed for fun evenings together. The communication was with the owner and very efficient as well as pleasant.

Jenkins Pond

A beautiful beach house right on the pond. We all enjoyed our week’s vacation tremendously. The house was nice and clean, and had all the supplies we needed to spend the day at their beach. The house also had great water pressure which is always appreciated. Julie is such a wonderful host, very accommodating, and quick to reply to messages. Thank you for the chance for our family to create these lasting memories!

Great space, convenient location, and with a private beach!

It was really a great experience over the 4th of July week. We loved having the beach that gave shade in the morning and a gate to keep our boys contained lol. There is a small public beach next to the house for the locals which gave our daughter some people to play with. The house had plenty of beds in different sizes, great to give everyone their own space. The view was amazing with a nice little outdoor shower to rinse off before you come in.Parking right next to the house easily for 4 cars and not have to walk down a lot of stairs like many lake houses in the area was big plus!No washer and dryer so keep that in mind totally understandable. I would probably do the same thing. And lastly, an amazing AC system so the house was cold, and dry!

The perfect vacation

The fact that this is our 6th time staying at this property says it all. Every year gets better. This house has it all.. location, toys, space, AC. Our growing family is creating core memories here. We love being on the pond and having the beach and the kayaks and the hot tub and the firepit. On the rare occasion we do leave the house, it is close to the beach and shopping and town. Honestly this house checks every box you would want.

A Little Piece of Heaven!

What a wonderful property! Spacious, clean, comfortable and so well stocked with everything you would need and want! The lake is just beautiful and the private beach a total joy. We had 8 adults, 2 preschoolers and two babies and our dogs! And there was plenty of room. The sunrises and sunsets out on the upper desk were especially magical. We loved our vacation and Julie was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. Just a total joy.

Fantastic

My family had a fantastic week staying here. We had 4 adults and 5 children under 13 and a dog. With 2 living areas and decks It was spacious enough for all of us. A beautiful location quiet yet only minutes away from shopping/restaurants. We enjoyed fishing, making s’mores, sand castles and much more. We plan on making this a yearly vacation, but next time we want to go during summer to take advantage of the water more. Thank you Julie for allowing us to make beautiful memories at your property.

Hidden gem in Falmouth

This is our 6th time staying here and it never stops amazing us. Our group has grown and now we have toddlers and infants and it is perfect for them. The sandy beach area is perfect for kids to play and swim. The outdoor shower is perfect for everyone coming off the beach. The house has so much space to spread out with the deck and yard and beach with two floors of living space we were never on top of one another. There is everything you need at this house but if you wanted to leave, ocean beaches, and shopping are all within a 10 minute drive. We plan on coming back next year!

Peaceful Getaway, Great Location

Our friend group has been going away each summer for the last several years. Our kids range in age from 1-8. We enjoy cooking, swimming and relaxing. This location allowed us all of those things. It was easy to get to, and with the pond on site, our little ones had access to swim and play on the sand without having to trek to the beach each day. Quick drive to Woods Hole which is a bonus if you want a day trip. Julie was great with communication and her home is lovely! We had plenty of space for our group. A perfect summer getaway!

Fun in Cape Cod 2024

This is the fourth year in a row my family has stayed at the lake house. There are 12 of us, ages 65 through 6 years old. Everything is perfect and our hostess is absolutely wonderful! We look forward to our Cape Cod vacation all year long. It feels like home now. My granddaughter says the Cape Cod vacation is her favorite holiday, even better than Christmas! The house is set up beautifully for a crowd with a large living room and a game room in the basement for the grandkids to play. The lake water is very clean and it is warm. The fenced in yard is also very nice and makes it very easy for the parents to keep track of kids and pets. I already miss drinking my morning coffee on the deck looking out at the lake. It's a beautiful place to stay and relax.
