"We had a 3 night stay at The Stones Hotel Salisbury. The Receptionist Angelina (I think) weekend 13 - 15 July - was excellent She had a sincere smile. She was professional and very helpful. It was extremely hot and she arranged for a fan to be provided. A very pleasany lady. The Executive Double room is roomy with a fabulous large bed with very comfortable quality cotton bedding. The bathroom is a nice size with a large walk in shower cubicle. The overhead rain shower is powerful and large with an alternative hand shower all very simple to use. We were visiting friends who insisted we eat with them so we cannot comment on the restaurant or the food but the menu is extensive. All in all a very nice place to stay and we will return in the future."

"Checked in late but wasn't a problem. Friendly staff. Had asked for ground floor but was on 2nd (it luckily had a lift). Bed tiny but overall rom was good. Clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was nice. Would stay again."

"Wonderful hotel. We were visiting from North Yorkshire for a friends wedding. The room was clean and the air conditioning was a god send! My daughter loved the swimming pool and the staff were very friendly and she loved chatting to them. The restaurant was good, slight delay in my daughter’s food, but they whipped it out fast once I’d asked where it was! The play corner was also very much enjoyed (some pieces missing from the toys but still enjoyed by her!) and breakfast was very nice. It was amazing that she was able to eat free whilst staying there too. Would 100% come back when visiting our friends again. "

"Excellent check in. Very friendly staff. Extremely dog friendly. Room was spacious. All the fire doors in the corridors were a bit difficult to manage, but otherwise good. Food and drink was excellent and bar staff great. Excellent location being in the middle of the high street and the canal very close by for walking. Outdoor areas of the hotel were rather scruffy / dirty. Not a particularly nice area to sit close to the car park."

" Room was comfortable although the basin taps moved andone of the screws was missing from the hook on the bathroom door so couldnt really hang anything up but all minor issues.Lovely view from the window overlooking the courtyard.Very pleasant stay"
