  • This beautiful house is on 3 acres to enjoy. 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom. 1 king ,1 queen, 1 full 2 twins , queen futon and double pull out couch. Garage bay open for parking. Base price for 2 guests, $25 per person per night over2 guests. Central air, full amenities. All one level steps in front and ramp at the back door. I don’t list as handicap accessible because I don’t know if it’s up to code for that, but showers have handles. Deck and grill. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer. Attractions near: Backyard Adventure UTV tours, spirit Ballooning, Norfolk Curling club, Quarry view golf course. Canaan Country Club Golf, Freund’s Farm Market, Land of Nod winery, Jim’s bait and tackle. Limerock Park 13 miles, 3.9 miles from Norfolk Curling Club 2.3 miles, hiking in the area, fishing, golfing, 3.7 miles from Infinity Hall, farm markets, 15 miles from Hotchkiss School, 8 miles Salisbury Boys School, 13 Miles Berkshire School, 16 miles Great Barrington Ma, located in Northwest corner of CT, 29 miles from Tanglewood. Butternut & Catamount 19 miles. NO SMOKING! No Vaping! No pets! No Parties! Linens and towels provided. Coffee pot, keurig, coffee press & tea pot. We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house had accommodations for all ages, and my kids really enjoyed the kids' sleeping area when they just wanted to relax. You can't beat the view from the home! The changing of the trees by the creek were so beautiful. Also, Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to CT.

Wedding Retreat

Our family stayed here for my son’s wedding and the house was perfect. Single level for small children and adult with limited mobility. It was quiet and beautiful surroundings with Blackberry River babbling heard from the back deck.

Wonderful property, with a lovely backyard and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Would love to come back with a bigger group to enjoy the big living room and outdoor space but it was perfect for spending a couple days while in town for a wedding. Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very spacious and was perfect for kids with enough spaces for everyone to sleep and run around. Jennifer was super responsive (within minutes) and friendly and we experienced no problems with the house. My only regret is not being able to spend as much time as we wanted at the house to utilize their amazing backyard (we we had a family wedding which took us away from the property each day). Highly recommend this place - especially to families with kids!

Great Stay!

We were in town for a Hotchkiss graduation. The location was perfect for that, just a short drive. The house was spacious and clean and plenty of room to hang out together or if we wanted to hang out in smaller groups we could spread out. We loved all the little details that Jennifer added, we were greeted with some delicious Cabot cheese, and homemade soaps made by a friend of hers. The bathrooms was well stocked with necessities like q-tips, floss, etc. The kitchen was well supplied too. There were extra blankets and pillows. We also really appreciated Jennifer's flexibility with allowing us to check-in whenever we arrived since we got stuck in traffic and didnt arrive until very late, 10pm. Great stay all in all.

Excellent experience at this house. 2 of my curling teammates and myself, for 3 nights. Very clean, beautiful location, and plenty of space. And just 6-7 minutes to the curling club. Jennifer is very pleasant, and always responded promptly to all of my questions. I was especially grateful when she brought me a replacement house key, about 2 minutes after I notified her that I had carelessly misplaced the first key. 5 star house, and hostess. Absolutely.

Wonderful holiday meet-up point

The property was comfortable and accessible. We were traveling with a 4 year old and two octogenarians. Everyone was easily able to access all parts of the home. The photos were representative of the current condition of the home. So, everything was exactly as we expected when we arrived. Our host was gracious and accommodating. The location was clean, attractive and everything we were expecting. The accommodations suited our group of 6 adults and 1 child. Plenty of seating, plenty of space for dining. Our host runs/owns a large scale dairy farm nearby. She offered us a tour, which is something our little one will always remember. All around great place to stay.

Wonderful Family Holiday Gathering in CT

Property was exactly what we needed to have our family holiday gathering. My family from Maryland, Arkansas, and Pennslyvania came to Connecticut to meet up with my in-laws to share the holiday. Jennifer was amazing and she even went the extra mile to put up a Christmas tree for us and provided ornaments so we could have a decorating event. The spacious ranch layout and the accessability to the house made possible by the ramp in the garage was perfect for my father-in-law. The entire family had a fantastic holiday thanks to Jennifer and this incredibile property. The house has everything you need as Jennifer and Cricket thought of every last detail. Relaxing Country Retreat

We enjoyed a five day stay relaxing with our family of 5 adults, 1 child and an infant in this beautiful country home. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and we found that the home was very accessible for her. There is a ramp in the garage to enter the home and the bathrooms all have stepless shower entry. The house was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. The family room is quite large and allowed us to comfortably gather to play board games or watch movies. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishware etc. if you plan to eat in, but we also found some very good restaurants nearby. The hosts met us when we arrived and were very welcoming. We didn’t require anything during our stay but it was nice to know they were readily available if needed. We would love to return in the future for another family get together!

Enjoyed our stay at first. Host was very nice and no issues to begin with. Second night are when the problems started. Had some people over after a Jack and Jill (15 max). Got a phone call from the host at around 8:00pm saying everyone needed to leave. I agreed and as I was getting people out of the house, 5-10 minutes later, the host and her husband showed up to the house and came in the front door and kicked everyone out and said that everyone, including myself and my 3 friends who were the original guests, had to leave. With nowhere to stay we had no option but to drive all the way home in the middle of the night. Didn’t mean no harm, the friends weren’t staying the entire night, they just came over to grill some food and hang out for a bit. Owner and husband were good people and I have no hard feelings towards them at all, however a bit too strict in my opinion.
