This was our second time staying, and we somehow had an even more wonderful experience! The cabin is the perfect retreat—so cozy, clean, and quiet. It’s also well positioned among Charlottesville, Crozet, and Shenandoah National Park, which were all places we frequented during our stay.
Very nice stay and cabin was clean. Close proximity to several wineries and about 20-25 minutes to Charlottesville and Shenandoah NP, so great location if you want a quiet and scenic area with plenty of fun day trips.
We enjoyed our stay very much! It was a great place to rest and relax after hiking in Shenandoah National Park.

This was a lovely, authentic and charming little cabin. It made a memorable and cozy get away for our two day stay while we hiked in Shenandoah National Park and toured Montecello.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the cabin! It was perfect for our anniversary trip. Close enough to Shenandoah National park for hiking yet secluded for the perfect off-grid feel.
The cabin was cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area including hiking, wineries, historical sites, and antique shopping.
It was a perfect place for a few days of hiking in the mountains. Great location, beautiful cabin with everything that is needed for a weekend get away. The owners were great at communicating all details and answering questions. Hope to stay again someday.
Wonderful cabin in the woods near Shenandoah NP. It was lovely to hear the birds in the morning. The porch is a wonderful place for coffee. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and check in was easy. Be sure to plan ahead food wise, there aren’t restaurants or stores nearby. This was a wonderful retreat!
Beautiful little cabin tucked away from the road. I was looking for a quiet getaway weekend and the cabin and the surroundings provided just that. Very peaceful and quiet. The owners do live on the property in the big house but this was no problem. Owners are very nice and will give you as much information as you ask for but are not invading your cabin space and you have free roam of the property. Property is close to a road that's good for running, just ask the owners. If you're a bike rider, the locals are rider friendly but just realize these are mountain roads so hilly and two lanes, but good riding.. Very relaxing, cabin was awesome!
Very quaint cabin in beautiful area. Host is very accommodating. Enjoyed coffee on the porch with rain on the tin roof. Lots of wineries and orchards nearby with live music. Great weekend getaway
The property was very nice with great walking paths through the woods. A covered porch to sit and watch the wildlife. The hosts were resourceful and accommodating.
Our 2nd time staying here. Beautiful, quiet and cozy place. Plenty to explore, horses to meet, wonderful communication with owner.
The perfect spot to get away from the everyday hectic life.
We will be back.

Perfect spot
Had a great stay here. Perfectly located to hit vineyards on the higher side of Monticello wine trail. The cabin is quiet and the hosts are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this to friends. There were no surprises. The description is dead on.

Nice Relaxing Retreat
The cabin was amazing had everything you needed. The only thing I would caution is the bed mattress is in desperate need of replacement. For the money you pay the mattress should be higher quality. That said I would recommend it and we enjoyed our stay. The owner and their two dogs were extremely nice and welcoming.
Our 3 nights at the little cabin was the most relaxing weekend we have had in many years. The owners were welcoming and friendly upon arrival. Cabin sets deep in the woods, very near several wineries. Laying in bed watch Netflix movies with Duraflame log fires was sooo relaxing in the historic cabin. We will come back again. We LOVED the cabin!
We needed a break from the 2024 election craziness and headed towards the foothills. Langley Cottage was perfect. Sitting on the porch, taking in the Fall foliage with a glass of wine was very relaxing. The Host, Barb was wonderful! She offered a fire log for the fireplace so the ambiance was a nice touch.
We loved the cabin. They say “what’s important? - location, location, location”. This cabin is located in a beautiful part of the country and surrounded with things to do. Both in nature and in an urban setting. Most relaxation my wife and I have had in a while.
We absolutely loved this cabin! Not too far from Charlottesville, but still far enough to be very peaceful and quiet. It is nice being able to park right by the cabin, and to have beautiful views of the woods. Wi-Fi worked great and it was nice to have streaming services available. Cannot recommend this cabin enough, and can’t wait to stay there again.
Beautiful natural surroundings are the focal point of this property. Time well spent on the porch in the mornings and evenings with coffee and the birds happily chirping. White oaks, lob lolly pines, and tulip trees encircle the property. Perfect in every way.
