" The elevator was out and they put us on top floor, should have notified us that we would be climbing stairs 3 floors, had knee replaced so climbing that many stairs took a while. The check person just said nothing she could do. Des Moines is the largest city in Iowa so they should have been able to fix the elevator. was told it had been out for the week For the cost I expected better."

"10/10, paid $98. Staff were polite and professional, my room had a full kitchen - stove, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, sink, everything. Room had a living room and bedroom, bedroom had its own tv as did the living room. If I’m ever needing to spend the night in the Des Moines area, I will absolutely come back here."

"Great experience! I loved having a mini fridge in my room and the sink outside of the bathroom. Staff were so friendly, and the decor is fresh and cheery. Great location. The gas station across the street is cute and has lots of food options."

"The Hotel room was perfect and great options for breakfast. The only issue was limited parking at night and the toilet line broke. I tried calling at night, We had to lift the lid to flush the toilet"

"Enjoy the free parking. The rooms were clean and accommodating. We used the weight room, which was very nice. Did not use the pool, but others were using it and seemed to enjoy it. The outside area appeared nice and inviting. We played a few games of connected four, but were unable to use the pool table, as it was always occupied. The only concerns, is when we checked in, the girl was very soft spoken and I had to ask her to repeat things a few times. She seemed very robotic and not really engaging. Had a tough time finding the stairs as well. I have issues with vertigo and taking the elevator can cause dizziness, so would have liked to had the stairs visible from the front check in area. Breakfast was good. My son waited quite a long time for pancakes though, about 20 minutes and then they were a little sloppy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and all of the accommodations and amentias available. We would stay here again in the future versus downtown Des Moines. The area has a lot to offer and seems pretty quant."
