Charming 2-bedroom 2-bath cabin on beautiful Bear Island lake in Babbitt, MN.

"The setting was gorgeous and the best fishing was very close to the cabin. Lots of great outdoor space to hang out. The eclectic decor was fun. I’d love to hear the stories behind the unique items throughout the cabin. The walk in shower in the en suite was wonderful. We could fully relax and enjoy ourselves it was so peaceful!! The communication with the host was wonderful. Highly recommend."

"This home does not disappoint! It was clean (especially considering that up to four dogs are allowed) and spacious enough to allow the dogs some separation when that seemed like a good idea! The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious enough for a group to easily cook, eat, and relax together. The beds were comfortable, and it was so helpful to have 3 nice bathrooms. Great communication with our host, who responded very quickly to our questions! Our group would stay there again!"

"Beautiful property and great location. Our family had a great vacation! Some of our favorite features of the property were the Bluetooth speakers that played indoors and outdoors, the boat lift, plenty of space in the kitchen with modern appliances, and the game table on the main level living area. There’s also a ton of DVDs if movie night is calling. We hired a fishing guide (Fishing with Z) and he picked us up right from the dock and we caught our walleye limit in about 2 hours! Even though there is no Air Conditioning it was very comfortable with plenty of fans so it wasn’t an issue. Also the host is very responsive and friendly. We look forward to booking again next year!"

"Great experience and highly recommended for an easier time getting out camping versus the BWCAW. Our time on the island was awesome! Unforgettable and will definitely be doing it again. Jimmy and his granddaughter even took us tooling around on the lake. As well as we rented a motorboat from him for fishing on our own. It was like an upgraded more comfortable and easier experience from the BWCA but still just as secluded, private and picturesque. Lots of optionable enjoyment for lake life on Vermillion. We loved it."

"This was my second time at this location, and it is always amazing! I am typically a camp in a tent kind of girl and I just loved this. Right on the water, my own mini kitchen, kayaks and canons provided as well as life jackets. Some people might not be a fan of not having a bathroom in each cabin and having a shared space, but the bathrooms are clean and are kept up and well stocked. The host is wonderful as well. Thank you for the amazing vacation!"

"Wilderness Wind is one of our favorite vacation destinations and we were especially delighted to get the Moose cabin, which is our favorite! Jay is so incredibly hospitable and helpful and a summer would not be complete without a visit here. Highly recommend!!!"
