Cozy creekside home with deck, 15 min to airport, shopping, 1 hr to Crater Lk.
Forget your worries in this comfy and cozy home. Whether coming to explore Oregon in all of its beauty or to relax and visit with family and friends, you can sit back on the deck and watch the ducks in the Little Butte Creek. Depending on the time of year, you may see Salmon migration and spawning or Blue Heron nesting nearby. Large windows offer plenty of light and views of the creek. And, in nearby Harnish Wayside Park, you can enjoy a stroll by the creek. Creekside Charmer has 2 bedrooms, one queen bed and one full bed, a laundry, and a three season porch with a spare single bed. Take note that the porch is not a private room as the window from the kitchen overlooks it. This room is great for a child or for a solo traveler. It is wonderful to wake up in the morning to the creek! (But, not in the winter when this room is too cold.) There is plenty of yard space, and a driveway. From Creekside Charmer it is 60 miles to Crater Lake National Park and it is a 3 to 4 hour drive to the Oregon coast. Close proximity to Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, 15 minute drive, where there is also plenty of shopping and restaurants. It is also 10-20 miles to local hospitals

Thank you Patricia for a wonderful stay! It was plenty spacious for my little family on our quest to visit all the national parks. My son enjoyed watching all the wildlife around the creek. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen and lots of towels provided. Close to airport and even closer to restaurants and essentials. We will miss the peaceful mornings from the deck. We were a bit reluctant to leave!
The Creekside Charmer was a home away from home during our stay in Eagle Point. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the living room had plenty of room to kick back and relax each day after seeing the sights in the area. The house is within easy walking and driving distance of several restaurants, stores and sights. We especially enjoyed watching the deer, mallard ducks and otters along the creek in front of the house. We highly recommend staying at the Creekside Charmer if you're vacationing in the area; I know we will!
Quick trip to White City for training course at Cerakote. Found this beautiful place on the creek to stay. Had everything we needed and a great back deck to listen to the creek. Really enjoyed the stay.
Kudos to the Host who has decorated her home so nicely and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend stay. It was spacious, well maintained and clear instructions throughout the house. Comfy beds and kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook meals. We loved the sound of the creek! It was a little warmer when we arrived and we appreciated the a/c. The location was perfect and for the most part very quiet! Deer everywhere!!! This truly was my favorite stay yet and we will definitely be back!!
Our stay was a family get together. The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating. We watched deer from the deck. It was really a great time
This house is the oerfecr balance of feeling like you're out in nature with the stream in the backyard and being close to groceries/ restaurants/ town. We were concerned that only 1 bedroom had an AC, but it didn't end up being a problem, even with 90+ degree days. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!
Patricia was great to work with when an unexpected storm rolled through and the whole area went without power for several hours. She kept me updated on the news from the local electric company and made sure everything was good after power came back. The house was great and the view over the creek was better! We saw plenty of wildlife throughout our stay. Looking forward to renting it again next year!
We loved this place. It was a special time for us, visiting family (including a very ill grandparent) over christmas. This wonderful riverside home was fantastic to come back to. No complaints whatsoever. The host was great, communication was great. We are incredibly grateful. Honestly, it was likely because of what we were going through, but this house felt a bit magical to us. A sanctuary. What a blessing.
Patricia's home was absolutely wonderful! While enjoying coffee on the patio, we were treated to lovely views of the creek as well as watching the heron in a nest at the top of a nearby tree feed her nestlings, the many mallards and wood ducks feeding below in the creek, the largest squirrel I have ever seen(!), and a plethora of mockingbirds, jaybirds, gold finches and others frequenting the feeder. The fire pit was wonderful for the evenings. The cottage has such a warm and lovely aura about it; we loved the decor - such a lovely pastel vibe. Kitchen had everything you might need to prepare wonderful meals. Parking was easy; the neighborhood is quiet; and there are stores within a 3-minute drive and one about a 10 min walk down the road. The Alexa was a nice touch and provided music for evenings around the dining nook. We just loved staying here, Patricia; thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely house.
Stayed at this lovely property 2 nights with my dad and my uncle. We visited to attend another uncle's funeral and celebration of life the following day. It was approx. 105 degrees the day of the funeral, and Patricia was very kind and understanding in granting us earlier access to her home. The home has been nicely updated, is tastefully decorated, clean and very thoughtfully appointed. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. When it cooled down in the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the creek and watching the wildlife make their rounds. I was very comfortable at this home and sort of hated to leave! I would love to come back for another stay- this is an excellent value at the price point. I would've made an entry to the guest book, but alas there was no ink in the pen. Thanks for a peaceful, restorative stay.
This is such a lovely home. The Creekside Charmer has heart and soul, you can tell it is well-loved. We loved relaxing on the deck, listening to the river. We were lucky enough to see a blue heron fly overhead. The front lawn area was perfect for playing Cornhole. The kitchen had everything you need, including plenty of dish ware, spices, oil, ect. The ice tray in the freezer came stocked. There were three different coffee options, including French press, Keurig, or drip coffee pot.We loved dining at the nook on the living room. The chairs and couch were comfy and there were plenty of blankets all over the house to stay cozy at night and in the mornings. The mattresses and pillows were all comfortable, as well as the bedding. There were a lot of little details that made this stay more so relaxing and welcoming.Thank you Patricia for hosting our family. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Rogue Valley area.
Charming doesn’t do it justice… really a home away from home but adding the babbling brook off the side porch is just amazing. Close to town, easy check in, super comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of spices including Vanilla for a drop in the K-cup coffee. Can’t wait to come back next spring.
Amazing property! This is our second time staying here. Last time was in the Fall. Lots of heron, duck, and deer. Great roads to run on and close to town.
Spacious little house, lots of room. Beautiful view from the living room and deck. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. Coffee makers are present, Keurig and drip. Bright and airy rooms.
A quirky house with a lof of charm and comfort. My 16 year old son and I stayed here and we had a great time. Location is just 15 minutes to airport and 15-20 min to all Medford has to offer. We also hiked Prescott and Worthington BLM trail. Weather was great on the chilly side but plenty of blankets. Also my son was in school during the stay and there was an excellent alcove for him ton work on school assignments. I would definitely consider renting this property again if available.
