"Mountain Lake Lodge Hotel Staff, especially Ruth Ann and Jim were very good and a credit to your business. Nice coffee and tea and goodies bar in the lobby every morning. We had room 303 downstairs for Tues. - Fri. 27-30 of October. Two wonderful jacuzzis on the grounds a real plus. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Had wonderful robes and special towels for use at the outdoor jacuzzis. Liked Riley's Restaurant on the premises - with a great pizza oven and very friendly Manager and Chef. What was NOT good: Lighting in our room was very poor and dim - if you wanted to read. We replaced one of their light bulbs with one we bought from Harvest Foods to be able to read at night. Too dark in the bathroom to apply makeup. Had to call the front desk to find out that the TV had some kind of switch on the back of the screen to turn on before it would work. Coffee area in the room had no creamer or plastic spoons to use. Microwave was not easy to use because of the way it showed the time. You could bake for 30 minutes in it, but don't ask it to heat up something for two minutes. That was a real guessing game. We did not try to use the hot tub in our room so don't know how that worked. On the last night we had someone rent the room above us and we could hear every footfall back and forth above us. Worst of all, for the last two nights the beautiful large jacuzzi jets did NOT work at all after we pushed the big green button."
