"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops."

"The cabin was beautiful!!! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub at night under the stars was amazing...most any of us have ever seen. The owners responded to questions quickly. They put together a cute binder with lots of local information. The view of the creek was beautiful. I can't say enough great things about our experience here!! Hopefully we will make it back one day. "

"There are no security lights or motion lights, we had to use our flashlights and car lights in order to see. There are no road signs or numbers on the house and we didn't know I'd we were at the right place. It needs a street sign with the name of the cabin or the house number. The place needs to be sprayed for ants and there was clothing left under one of the beds and in the washing machine. The lighting and no numbers on the house are a problem. It's pitch black and we arrived around 930 or 10 pm. Vrbo gave us the wrong code to get in so we had to contact the owner and he was fantastic, very nice"

"This cabin is truly nestled in the foothills. Surrounded on two sides by mountains and rocks and the creek in the middle. The sounds of the water flowing over the rocks was the best tranquility I've had in a long time.. so many trails to explore, just watch the ticks, never ending hiking and you don't have to drive anywhere to get there, you're already there.. we saw abundant wildlife and stunning wildflowers. The outdoor kitchen is an amazing place to hang out while cooking, with the hot tub to keep you relaxed after dinner. Very clean, and super pet friendly.. our pup loved the water . "
