This refined condo is equipped with two smart TVs, while the wood-burning fireplace provides plenty of Rocky Mountain ambiance. And if you want to dine at home, the fully-equipped kitchen ensures that everyone is fed and fueled during their stay.

Located in Purgatory Resort base village, you'll have the convenience of world-class skiing, mountain biking, and National Forest hiking. In warm weather, experience the wildflower-filled trails at Purgatory Flats, or paddle the rapids of the Animas River. Find superb dining and gear rentals directly in the village with additional restaurants just two miles south. The area also offers several beautiful lakes just a few miles away, while golfing is only ten miles from your front door.

Good but killer draft
Solid lodging option. Very convenient to skiing and other Purg activities. Good wifi and everything thing else needed was there. The interior was nice, with some aspects becoming dated but not to the point of being a problem. Two related cons. The entry door is in the bedroom and it has a SIGNIFICANT draft. The door between the bedroom and won't stay shut, so the draft freezes the entire condo. It was cold to the point of needing to wear jackets inside when we arrived. The second con is that the electric fireplace and the plugs throughout the condo are on the same circuit so that trying to use the fireplace and the space heater anywhere in the condo trips the breaker. I ended up using towels to block the draft at the bottom of the door which still left less significant drafts on the side. Then we had to prop the interior door closed. After that, I was able to get the rest of the condo to warm up. Fix the daft issue and this would be an excellent value for 2 -3 persons.

Perfect Location
Great location and nicely updated condo. Beautiful view of the “beach” area and right next to Twilight lift. Baseboard heating takes time so be patient- the electric fireplace and heater also help. After first few hours, temp rose from 60 degrees to 69. Entry door into first bedroom has major air leaks and lets in a lot of cold air, so we just blocked it off with a few blankets we brought at bedtime and that along with the portable heater kept us warm. I was thankful I brought along some heat duty earplugs-the neighbors next door threw a rager until 1:00 in the morning with lots of music and loud screaming. Walls and shared door with that condo are pretty thin.

Nice Place
We enjoyed Eolus 522. It was clean, included nice amenities and it’s a great location for ski in / ski out. On the negative side, we were unable to lock the deadbolt with the code provided. Attempted to contact the host to inform, which I had no luck doing. Finally, the advertised rate is not even close to actual, given the extremely high fees. We ultimately paid double the advertised rate.

Prime location
The location was awesome! There were a few things that we disliked. There was no coffee in house, luckily we brought our own. The hot tub code changed. Make sure to check the book because the property manager didn’t know that. The layout is quirky but it’s obvious in the pictures. Overall we liked the condo. The fireplace and living room were gorgeous

Nice place
Nice 1bdrm 1 bath unit. Great view and access to Purgatory resort. We rented for a few summer nights. Might want to add a drying racks for drying dishes as there's no dishwasher. Bring extra towels if more than 4 people, additional towels are not provided. Overall its a good unit.

Lovely condo terrible property management
Temperature in the room at check in was 56 degrees. The baseboard heating was not functioning proper or simple inadequate to raise temp above 62 degrees. Calls and emails to provided management resulted in no replies. Ditto the internet not working. following day at end of day was able to get internet up, still nothing regarding heating issues. The fireplace heater also didn't function nor did the hair dryer. Leaving oven open and on raised temperature to 67 degrees. After 3-4 calls/messgaes to local Vacasa property manager, received a phone message stating she was out of the country and another name/number to call, which we had done previous night. on night before our check out following day received a voicemail from local manager asking if we needed anything. Kind of after the fact since we leave the next morning! Hoping to stay again but sure hope other management companies are handling properties we can lease.
