This Colorado property is situated off the beaten path, but convenient to all the town amenities. The home sits at an elevation of 6,867 feet on 11 acres with views to the LaPlata Mountains. Surrounded by various fruit trees, a fish pond, Aspen trees, meditation garden, and wildlife that frequents the property daily.

This is the perfect getaway for a family group of 8 or a couples retreat. The spacious layout provides a dining room and table to seat 8, with a pub table to seat additional guests. Two upstairs master suites with bathrooms in each, gorgeous views and custom beds. The downstairs includes full size laundry, sauna to accommodate 5-6, two additional rooms and shared bathroom with tub. Covered Parking for two, and space for more vehicles.

Your trip may include destinations to Historic Downtown Durango to visit the world famous Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (8 miles) , a ski-trip at Purgatory Resort (34 miles), hiking, fishing, biking, rafting, shopping, all these activities can be found close to your home-away from home.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy yet spacious mountain cabin in Durango! Perfect for our group of 7 friends, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals together. We especially loved the porch with its stunning mountain views and the chance to watch local wildlife right outside. The location is ideal—just minutes away from the Durango-Silverton train. A perfect spot for both comfort and adventure!

Fantastic stay!

Fantastic mountain retreat!

My family had a wonderful stay at the cabin while sightseeing in Durango and Silverton. The cabin was just as pictured, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again.

We loved our stay. The area is so quiet and peaceful with amazing views from every angle! We had an issue with the water heater and the owners were on it right away and had the issue taken care of immediately.

Durango Family Vacation

We loved the house, the location, and Durango. Plenty of room for all our family. Enjoyed the hot tub, grilled steaks on grill, and admired the view of the San Juan Mountains. Highly recommend staying here!

This property has lots of room and flexibility for accommodating adults, teens and younger children. There are a number of amenities such as hot tub with a great view and wildlife in the property surrounding the house.

Great cabin for our large family.

The cabin was clean and functional if a little worn and has great views from all sides of the deck that wraps around three sides of the cabin. Its an easy 15 minute drive into town. We really enjoyed the sauna and found management to be very responsive to any requests.

Everything was great!!! The location is beautiful and the cabin is amazing. The only thing is that the hot tub was not ready to go when we got there, but was very clean and comfortable.

Perfect large family house

Perfect stay for me and my four adult children. Large comfortable bedrooms with many bathrooms. Large living, bonus and dining room for family gatherings. We all enjoyed the large deck with hot tub for morning coffee and nighttime cocktails. Close enough to town yet away from all the noise for quiet evenings with the family. Would highly recommend to any larger family for a perfect getaway.

Delightful cabin with gorgeous views

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. The kids loved the snow and the old arcade machine. My husband and I loved the hot tub and the gorgeous views. The huge dinning table was perfect for family dinners and game nights. Clean and well kept and very tastefully decorated. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and very roomy. Slept 4 couples very comfortably. House was nicely stocked with all the basics you need. The view of the mountains was gorgeous. Beautiful Mountain Getaway

This place is exactly what we were looking for. Clean and spacious on the inside with a huge deck and spectacular views all around. It is a relatively secluded cabin nestled in the mountains but still provides easy access to and from town. Watching the stars at night while relaxing in the hot tub was a bonus. Host was very nice and accommodating. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect Mountain Retreat for Families w/Adult Children

Family Vacation

Wonderful Property. House had everything our family of 8 needed. Plenty of room for everyone. We cooked in several meals including one night of grilling on the deck/patio. The sauna and hot tub were a nice bonus. Beautiful sceneries and wildlife all around us! If you plan to go to hot springs in Durango be sure to pack your own beach towels.
