"My reservation was greatly appreciated. There was a issue with the rooms but was taken care by the female staff at night in front. Thank you for that. Breakfast was also amazing friendly staff Miriam. "

10/10 Excellent
"This was my second time coming within the period of two months. The service there is excellent. The beds are comfortable if something is wrong with the room or the exterior of the hotel it is taken care of expediently by management. I highly highly recommend this hotel. Dolly "
"My stay was only for a night but I will definitely be looking to stay at this place next time I'm in the Washington D.C. area. The room was really great, felt like a small apartment and it was well furnished. I arrived later in the evening but hotel staff welcomed me in and showed me around the property and let me know everything I needed to know. "
"This unit is exactly how it was described. Quaint! The space was clean, the street was quiet, and it was very easy to communicate with the property owner. I would definitely rent this space again when coming back to visit "
"We loved our stay at Emerald Escape Hilltop Home! The home has 3 levels and looks just like the pictures. It is adorable! It was only my husband and I who stayed, but it would be perfect for a large family. The common area is on the 2nd floor and includes the living room, full kitchen, dining room, half bath, and laundry. The bedrooms and additional full baths are on the 3rd level. The basement is on level 1 and has a bed, kitchenette, sink, fridge, microwave, and oven. We spent most of our time in the basement because we had our dog with us and it was convenient to go in and out to the back yard from the basement. The yard is fenced in the front and back. We loved that it had a parking space secured in the back yard. You enter from the ally and open the garage door to the back yard. Parking is insane in DC so this was a huge perk for us. We parked our car and didn’t take it out until we left to go home. We called Uber to take us into the city each day. We never paid more than 15-20 each way and the drivers were all quick to arrive and knowledgeable of the area. With traffic, Ubering to Capitol Hill and the major sites took about 15 minutes. We even took an Uber to Mount Vernon which was about a 35 minute drive. The cost for that Uber was 25. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting the next door neighbors and they were very nice. The hosts were top notch and checked on us via text during our stay. I definitely recommend this house."
