The owners are a lovely couple, they welcomed us in person and did everything they could to make us feel at home. There was a large fruit basket waiting for us, plus other little touches. There was even a small Christmas tree in the living room (we spent Christmas time there). "Beautiful hotel, great welcome with parking directly outside and a secure garage for our bikes. We had a room overlooking the grounds at the rear of the hotel with a lovely little terrace to enjoy the sunshine (when it appeared). Breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had anywhere, lovely coffee and cake in the afternoon and dinner in the restaurant was brilliant. We also enjoyed the spa area and relaxation room. An all round wonderful stay, thank you!"
