What a great hotel

Fantastic part of the country with views to dream of, lovely hotel with excellent rooms but the hosts and the food are the real gem in the crown.

The house was huge with alot of open space to share. The view from bedroom window was amazing looking out to the ocean, and the ocean breeze was heavenly. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed for three days and was so happy we choose to do so. It was a great launching point for our touring then west coast and parts of Northern Ireland as well. Very convenient.

This place is amazing! It is beautiful, the views are gorgeous! Castle Murray House is very clean and has everything you need. It was super cozy in the evening and the staff and food were incredible! We enjoyed being there and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Castle Murray House for making our stay wonderful!

In an absolutely beautiful location. Room and bathroom were even nicer than the photos and spotless. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast! Be sure to take a walk and and take in the breathtaking scenery around dusk.

This is an exceptional property. Unbelievable setting, great rooms and fantastic breakfast. That said, it is really, really quiet so if you need a lively place, this is not for you.

My wife and our two dogs stayed here on Saturday night and we had the best time. Our dog friendly room was beautiful and the dogs loved the space across the fields were they could roam free. The staff were so accommodating and the food was amazing. We had a lovely breakfast and will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay with our two wee pups.

An amazing view over Donegal Bay !

A totally relaxing atmosphere with an amazing view of Donegal Bay. Whether you read a favorite book in the library room while sitting back in a cozy leather chair or enjoy a drink in the self-help pub room or just relax on the outside patio and watch an amazing sunset, this is the place to do it all. The staff was so helpful in suggesting nearby touring sites and restaurants. The lighthouse at St. John's Point is close by and Slieve League is only a 40 minute drive along some of the most beautiful coastline you'll ever see.

This is the best hidden treasure in Ireland!!!!

The welcome fireplace and honor bar, the sunset in the inlet, the yummy breakfast and the staff are over the top. Quaint, clean, amazing experience!!

Le meilleur hotel de charme de notre voyage

Le Castle Murray house est un petit hotel de plein de charme. Installé au bout d'une petite route, il est idéalement situé face à la mer. Ses grandes baies panoramiques permettent de profiter de la vue magnifique sur la baie, les parcs à moules et les moutons. Une impression d'être seuls au monde et quel calme!!! Les chambres sont très joliment décorées et sont pourvues d'une literie de grande qualité. Le fonctionnement rappelle un Bed & Breakfast : on se sert soi-même au bar et on note la consommation sur le cahier. Le propriétaire, un français devenu irlandais depuis 15 ans, donne mille conseils de visite et adresses de restaurant. Il concocte par ailleurs des petits déjeuners gourmands faits minute : scones à la myrtille tout chauds sortis du four (miam), oeufs brouillés au maquereau fumé maison, pancakes gargantuesques. Bref notre meilleur petit déjeuner de l'Irlande!! Bref fuyez Donegal et ses hôtels insipides et prenez la route pour vous rendre à cette adresse, vous y tomberez sous le charme

Very cool location with great views over the water. The facility is very unique and the breakfast was delicious. The "Honest Bar" was an especially friendly and fun perk. Would definitely stay again.

Peace and Tranquillity

A very relaxing weekend,staff were just brilliant,helpfull and great hosts.The breakfast set you up for the day.There was loads to see and do during the day and at night we sat by an open fire with a bottle of wine as the wind and rain were causing havoc outside.
