"VRBO navigation will take you to the wrong house - this listing is for "peacock pad, #7". The "front door" is the door facing the water/North, and it does stick. So twist the knob all the way & push. Overall a great house. It is just not kid friendly. It is on a bluff / cliffs, which do not have railings that are safe for kids. The house also has LOTS of small delicate and breakable items through out. I had to go through the house to remove these to higher locations, and then remember where they were to put them back. It was nice that the vacuum was left, so we could clean up after ourselves. To see the ocean view, you have to walk out onto one of the bluffs, but the sunsets were stunning. "

We spent two nights at this property while attending my brother-in-law's celebration of life This house was large enough to accommodate our family and was just a few minutes from our relatives. This house is old and showing wear, and would benefit from some serious updates - broken blinds, dirty microwave, ancient coffeemaker with a dirty warmer, kitchen faucet sprayer drooping, faint odor of tobacco, freezing cold when we arrived, and the living room heat did not turn on. Heat was provided by wall units in rooms, so it was difficult to get even heat. There were no towels in the bathrooms, but we did find some in the hallway, and discovered others in the clothes dryer. The washer did not work. When I contacted the host, he did schedule a maintenance person, but by then we had checked out. I had to contact him to get the door code. The description of the bedrooms needs editing. One bedroom has one king bed OR two twins that can be pushed together to make a king. The mattresses and bedding were ok. Overall, it was a disappointing rental."

"Clean and well equipped space in a very cute little neighborhood. The deer were around each morning to greet us outside and the views of the coast and the beach trail were huge highlights. Great proximity to the Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. "
