Perfect!

We were pleasantly surprised by the location and how well appointed the home was! We had a quick stay but it was a great stop and resting location. We walked to dinner at Ferguson’s and had a few pints while caring the Open with the locals. Very friendly and safe spot. Ciara, our host, was especially helpful and kind.

Amazing location

The location of the house house is perfect. Our daughter had a competition in Dublin so we were commuting into Dublin for a couple of days. We also spent a couple days exploring Northern Ireland which was do able from this location. It's close to Dundalk which pretty much has everything you will. N

Gorgeous place for a getaway

The house was spotless, communication with Ciara so easy and the place itself has breathtaking 180 degree unspoilt sea views - a real gem!

Fabulous 2 night mini break at the Pilot Station

Loved this property and the location - we had a great time. Super clean, warm and everything you needed for a cosy stay. We enjoyed the views so much and the walks - a place for any kind of weather really. Ciara was a great host - warm and very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Fabulous Stay!

Our third year at The Pilot Station and once again, it was a wonderful holiday.With the best views for sunrise and sunsets (particularly the sunset), The Pilot Station is a great place to set up base and explore the stunning area; we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable two weeks. The scenery is spectacular and the people are very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for brunches, lunches and evening meals, (in no particular order, but would recommend all of them); Strandfield, Carlingford Brewery, Fitzpatricks, Kingfisher Bistro, Cathedral, Jocelyn's, Square, The Clermont, The Brake, Yellow Heifer. Our host, Ciara, is excellent, always helpful and responds very quickly if you have a query.We are very much looking forward to our next visit.

Best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at!

Seriously this place is perfection. It’s so much better than the pictures. The host Ciara was responsive and so nice! The views cannot be beat and it just has this relaxing vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. Very close to Carlingford and Dundalk but feels very private and unique. Worth every penny!

Absolutely Fabulous

Had a fantastic stay here at the Pilot Station. Beautiful property in a great location. Views were second to none. Communication with Ciara was so easy and nothing was too much trouble for her. First time staying here hopefully not the last. 10 out of 10!

Great Location

This property could get 10 stars if the ratings went that high. There are water views out of ever window. Two second floor decks. Bedrooms are on the first floor so no lugging luggage to the second floor. Will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Excellent Property

We were surprised to find that this property was even better than expected from the description and photos. The kitchen and living space are on the second floor, which allows for 180 degree water views. And there are two outdoor decks where we thought there was only the 1. Ciara was very involved with the check in process - we got lost trying to find the place and she was very responsive and helpful. The property was stocked with more amenities than we had expected - cushions for outdoor chairs, towels for post-swimming, a washer and dryer (which we were very happy to have as I'd fallen into a bog earlier that day!). Ciara had even left us a few snacks as a welcome. We were really blown away. Can't say enough good things about our experience with this rental.

Right by the sea

Lovely cottage with everything you need. Stand out feature though is being within 50ft of a sheltered and sandy beach. Local pubs and restaurants served good food. A special call out to the Carlingford brewery

Stunning Views, Beautiful Home

This is a really beautiful home --even nicer than the pictures. The views are absolutely stunning. The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. There are some restaurants within a short drive and one that can be walked to --as well as a place to grab coffee, pastries, etc. Ciara was very helpful providing some recommendations. I very highly recommend this home.

Beautiful oasis on water

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ciara's beautiful home. The pictures don't fully capture the beauty of the home and the area. It is magnificent and Ciara is awesome. She communicated quickly with us regarding check in and check out. We look forward to staying at this property in the future and have recommended it to many others.
