Its hard to find where the actual hotel parking The lights on the entry does not work. There is no host between 10pm and 2pm. So you better check in before 10 pm. No breakfast even if you offer to pay, if you dont book for breakfast , you , no breakfast you. The room door us so hard to lock. It took me 15 minutes to figure it out. Because there is no one in the front desk, no one help you. I almost went to sleep with the door unlock. There is a banging sound in the wall every 30 minutes, all night. In short i will never come back and do not recommend this hotel. Actually i urge people not to consider this

Great stay at the Milton hotel
Turned up half an hour before opening at check in time 2.pm. Place was deserted, with for sale sign up . First thought it was a scam. But bang on 2pm lovely guy came to open up. Lovely stay, friendly staff , went out of there way to give us a double room instead of a twin room , which was booked by mistake . Full Scottish breakfast was fantastic and worth every penny for it . Would highly recommend.

Great Service
I was pleasantly surprised at the size and condition of the room. Thereasa, Reception and Barmaid, was extremely helpful and kind. In Room 10 I couldnt get a wifi signal and the TV reception wasnt good. Missed breakfast as I had an 8am start, but the Breakfast Menu selection looked good.

Comfortable accommodation close to Loch Lomond
A bit tricky to get to in car if you are coming west from Glasgow. Had to do a couple of precarious manoeuvres to get on to the very busy eastbound carriageway of the A82. Plenty of free parking to rear of accommodation. Reception is at the bar of the pub. The lady that checked us in could not have been more welcoming and helpful, she was really lovely. She told us that they didn't serve food themselves, but gave us a whole load of takeaway menus, and told us to have food delivered, and we could eat in the pub and she would give us plates and cutlery. We did just that, and had a fabulous Indian takeaway, washed down with a few drinks from the bar. The room was basic but comfortable. Downsides, there was a bit of noise from the road outside, and it was also clear that somebody had recently been smoking in the room, which wasn't great. All in all though, we had a pleasant stay, and would recommend to others.
