Large Lakeside Cabin

Come experience lake life!

This newly remodeled lake house is the perfect retreat for you and your group. Featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this property can easily accommodate 14+ guests. Just a block from the public beach and park, and minutes from the Boulder Lake Cross Country ski trails, you find plenty to do during any season!

Want to bring your boat? Snowmobile or ski equipment? We have storage space! You may also launch your boat down the road and park at our dock.

Take advantage of the full kitchen or grill on the back deck while overlooking the bay. If you don't want to cook, visit the Island Lake Inn resort next door for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also offer takeout and off-sale beer, wine, or liquor if there is anything you forgot to bring! They also have premium fuel for all of your machines.

On the upper level you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A couples retreat with a queen bed, the long hallway room, with 2 queen beds, and a family suite with a king bed and full over full bunk bed featuring newly refinished en suite bathroom.
The main floor has a cozy room with full size bed and a 3/4 bath as well as a pull out couch. All bedrooms and the main living space feature Roku enabled televisions and wireless internet access.

Annivesary celebration for parents. 60 years

It worked out well for our stay. We liked having the Bar and grill right next door. 20 miles to Duluth so not too far for sight seeing.

Friends weekend

The property was what we needed. As other reviews mention, it is RIGHT next to the bar but we really didn’t notice noise or anything negative about that. It wouldn’t be a first choice for a family who wants a secluded location but it was great for what we needed.

We so enjoyed staying at the VRBO rental. It was in a nice quiet area and close to the beach. Lots of fun. Good food next door. Not a lot of traffic in this area. We has such a great time at your house.

The house had everything we needed and warmly decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with good appliances. The living area was comfortable and bright. The swimming area was clean and never crowded but not convenient as you needed to cross two blacktop roads to get to it.

Fabulous

Ladies weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday!! Location was perfect and scenic. We ate dinner at the bar next door and food was delicious. House was beautiful, clean, and cozy and had everything we would need. Would definitely stay here again!! Host was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Short Family Getaway

We wanted somewhere close to Duluth but not in town. This was the perfect distance to all the things we wanted to do while in the area. Very nice house and lots of beds. Very cozy sitting by the fireplace at night. Just across the driveway from the bar and grill was nice - food and service was great! We didn't get to use the firepit outside but it looked like a nice amenity. Would definitely stay here again.

Duluth vrbo

We enjoyed the time we spent here. It was very cozy. Although it was across the parking lot of the local bar and eatery, it was very quiet at night. The shower in the downstairs bathroom was not handicap accessible, which was disappointing. The bedroom downstairs was very small and not efficient for someone wearing a prosthetic leg. Overall, we were able to adapt to the space and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for opening your home to us. We would definitely stay again if we choose Duluth for our reunion.

Family vacation

The property was in a great location for our extended weekend family getaway. Close to Duluth and right on a lake. The bay was nice for the grandkids/adults to go paddle boarding and kayaking without having to deal with waves from the lake. The lake was so close, very short walk, for swimming and beach activity. We met our host the 1st night and he assured us if we needed anything to just give him a call. There was no need as the house was well set up and we had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Family Celebration

The house itself was good. Plenty of space and supplies. Clean, updated bathrooms were nice! Enjoyed the convenience of the bar/restaurant but did not realize it was so close and there was a lot of traffic in and out. Also, the lakeside was not what we were expecting. The lake water was very low and the house is located next to a small pocket that connects to a bigger lake so we are glad we did not bring our boat.

It was a great vacation place for our family. We had 8 adults and 3 smaller children and there were plenty of beds and a huge dining table to fit is all. The view of the water and backyard was wonderful.Like any home, there were a few technical issues, but the owners were quick to respond to questions and we worked around most of them.

As advertised, roomy cabin.

The cabin easily accommodated eight of us for a long weekend. It is in a nice spot in a wooded area, just around the corner from a nice lake and a public park and beach. Easy drive to Duluth and a full service bar/restaurant right next door. The cabin has all the comforts of home. Relaxing and spacious venue for a group that size. I would recommend.

Wonderful House for Family Trip!

Our family had a wonderful trip staying at this large lakeside cabin. We had 7 kids and 4 adults in our group, and we had plenty of room to spread out. It was a quick trip to get to the beach and close enough for us to enjoy all the destinations we had planned. Yes, this is next to a bar, but this didn’t bother our family. It wasn’t too busy when we were there, plus we were able to enjoy the delicious pizza! Darren, the host, was wonderful to work with! Communication was great! In all, we had a wonderful stay!
