FEWO 1 Obermühle Duderstadt

The Obermühle is one of the last mills in Duderstadt whose technical equipment—with the exception of the millwheel—is still fully preserved. The Obermühle in Duderstadt was first mentioned in 1449. Over the centuries, it was repeatedly remodeled and expanded. In 1878, Duderstadt’s first public bathhouse was built behind the mill building. It is now closed, but the site is still recognizable.

Nestled in nature with wonderful walking and hiking trails starting right outside your door. Nevertheless, it’s only a few minutes’ walk (700 m) to the city center—in the heart of Duderstadt. From the apartment, you can walk directly to the sauna area and to your terrace. Here you’ll find a cozy seating area.
