"This house is fantastic! The kitchen is amazing and well equipped for anyone who loves to cook. Open family area has tons of room to hang and play games. This ns of space to relax, great pool! Location is perfect for beach, shopping ,restaurants etc. Robin and her team are awesome"

"This place is amazing and so is the host. She has thought of everything when it comes to convenience. The place is decorated very nice and we enjoyed this place so much. we have been going to Duck for 30 plus years and we used to not have to rent. We have rented a few in Colony by the Sea and this place has been the best so far. The beach chairs are so thoughtful and a great plus! Everything you could possibly need is here. The restaurants are great and great shopping close by. Colleen is super at responding to any issues and needs and she is very thoughtful. The kitchen is well stocked for your cooking needs . We will be back, we come down every year for our Anniversary and cant wait to rent this place again."

"This was a great property, full of amenities and stocked beyond what I expected. Quiet, peaceful location, with a decent walk to the beach. The only complaint I have was the lack of cleanliness; specifically, pet hair everywhere as if the previous guests had a badly shedding animal and the house hadn’t been cleaned since they checked out. It wasn’t immediately noticeable upon first inspection of the house the evening of arrival, but by the next day, we were finding ourselves covered in pet hairs from the bed comforters and after sitting on the sofa. There were huge furry dust bunnies and fur balls under the dining table and in windowsills. There were pet hairs in the kitchen and restrooms, literally everywhere! There were notices throughout the house reminding guests to cover the furniture and to clean up after pets, but apparently previous guests did not adhere to that request and there wasn’t a proper cleaning after. There was also a brown smear near the toilet paper roll in the half bath…yuck! We have always been taught to leave things better than we found them so we, unfortunately, spent more time than we would have preferred while on vacation, cleaning up after others in addition to ourselves. If property management could thoroughly clean in between guests, this would be the perfect stay!"

"The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and it really showed in how well they maintain this home. The house is thoughtfully laid out with comfortable, well-sized rooms, and the air conditioning kept us perfectly cool even on the hottest days. The pool was the perfect size for our group to relax and enjoy.One pleasant surprise was finding plenty of beach chairs already available—we had brought our own, but it’s great to know we won’t need to next time. The location couldn’t be better, with the beach just steps away via a convenient pathway right next to the house.Everything about our stay was perfect. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!"

"I cannot say enough good things about our week at Sugar Shack! The house has everything your family will need for a week at the beach. The reservation process was incredibly easy, communication with Bud and Janice was excellent from start to finish. The house was cleaner than any other beach house we have rented over the years (we typically do our own clean upon arrival and did not feel like it was necessary at Sugar Shack). You cannot beat the location! Being able to walk right up the short path to the beach with all of our gear was the best. There is nothing to say about this property except that it is exceptional and we cannot wait to come back! Thanks so much B&J for sharing your fabulous, special home with us!!!"
