Great property - location wasn't ideal for us
We absolutely loved the property. Very clean, had everything we needed for a great family stay. We were under the impression it was a little closer to Brianhead as this was our whole reason in staying at the VRBO. Unfortunately - we had no idea that one of the roads that takes you to Brianhead closes during the winter. We ended up having to commute basically all the way around the mountain doubling our commute. Overall, we had a great family time in Utah.

Great Times!
I stayed with my family over the holidays (13 of us), and we had a wonderful time. The accommodations were excellent. I was very impressed with the condo. It was spacious, very light and open. It worked great for us. It is a quiet, peaceful place, with a beautiful view. We will definitely return again.

Perfect for Family Reunions
Brought 4 families (13 total people) and rented 2 condos, everyone fit perfectly with room and sleeping space to spare (probably could have slept 6-7 more people in beds) and there are 4 more condos in this building if your group is bigger. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner/manager Michael is fantastic and takes a lot of pride in this property and making your stay a good one. Beautiful area with so much to see and do. Everyone had a great time, we hope to be returning soon.

Best Duck Creek Condo!!!
My family and I planned on visiting Duck Creek last month... But we had a massive flash flood in Las Vegas last September and were originally scheduled to come up the day of the flood but the I-15N was washed away literally. We contacted the owner of this condo and he was very helpful in rescheduling the whole trip for us this month. Thank God! Once we made it up here, the Lodge was very easy to find & plenty of parking. The Lodge is a street behind the gas station, very convenient. The Lodge was perfect for my family of 4 and 2 dogs. We stayed in the dog friendly unit & it was so clean! Beds were all very comfy, clean sheets and there's a laundry room too! Not to mention the kitchen was fully stocked. We grabbed a bite at Hot Mamma's Pizza and it didn't disappoint, very tasty! We took our Polaris out to Strawberry Point & Mammoth Caves; both a must SEE! The weather was perfect, still a few yellow leaves on some of the trees. We had an amazing time, & will be back again soon!

My family wanted to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors a little. This was the perfect get away!! We loved the cabin! It was beautiful and cozy. Really the only suggestion I have would be to invest in some better quality sheets. The ones on the beds didn't fit well and just appeared very worn. We will most likely consider staying here again on our next trip to Duck Creek Village.

Thanksgiving get away
We thought the condo was very clean and cute. The only complaint we have was that we had neighbors so close and if you get unlucky like we did with teenagers partying, that can call for some sleepless nights. Also we had the top unit, which meant three flights of stairs on ice.

We had a great time in the Utah mountains
We were three couples visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in mid-October, for which this rental gave us excellent access. We also enjoyed Kodachrome Basin State Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Parowan Gap Petroglyphs, and Frontier Homestead State Park Museum.
The building is three floors, each of two units, and this one is on the top floor, accessible by two flights of outside stairs. A wide deck surrounds each floor, from which one can look out in all four directions. The unit's sliding door/windows overlook Duck Creek flowing through a wide meadow, which had mule deer grazing each evening. It is a beautiful view. Duck Creek Village is a rustic place at 8,400 ft elevation.
The unit has three bedrooms, each of which has private access to sink/toilet. Two bedrooms have king size beds. The other has a queen. The beds were fine. Bed linens could be improved in quality and fit. One bedroom has full bath, the other two share a bathtub/shower between their half baths. There is also a separate half bath. The unit works well for three couples. The loft is fine for kids, but its ceiling, sloping down to about three feet makes it a problem for adults. There is good casual seating for six adults in front of the fire and the dining table is very nice for six.
The owner was quite accessible to us. We had a couple of questions while there, which were taken care of quickly. We arrived at night, the directions for finding the unit were vague, but our GPS saved us. Everything is obvious, once you see it in daylight.
This is a great place to stay to see beautiful country. It is a 30 miles to significant supplies in Cedar Creek, but that is the price to be in the middle of the mountains with great views and access. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and we recommend it to others.

Condo clean, good location half way between Zion and Bryce, although area remote. We were informed to buy supplies prior to arriving. Parking very limited, can only park one car near condo. Bedrooms adequate size as was kitchen. Sheets and towels very average and not "fine Egyptian cotton" as advertised. My concerns are as follows: the wrap around porch is shared by all renters, so no privacy. This was not addressed in the description of the condo. The first night we arrived, there was a loud gathering next door, with cigarette smoke, as well as foul language being used. The caretaker was not responsive to our requests while we were there, but did tell us we had to take our garbage down to the village--despite charging us a cleaning fee. We stayed in the "penthouse"--which essentially meant the 3rd level. We had to carry our luggage and groceries up the stairs. While this is fine for us, an older person would not have been able to do so. The caretaker did not offer to help carry our supplies. None of this was mentioned in the description. This was an adequate condo, but certainly not worth 5 stars based on our experience .

Great Experience
The condo was in great condition, clean and fully furnished. The neighbors were all friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony couldn't be beat.
We had 14 people stay over, and we all were able to sleep comfortably.
There are also a number of attractions around the area: Mountain biking, fishing, caving, hiking, etc.

Loved this condo!
We had a wonderful time last weekend in Duck Creek- thank you! Your place was very clean and well stocked. Beautiful views from balcony and fit all 11 of us easily. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and we would love to come back soon before the snow hits! Must try the smoked BBQ sandwiches at Biff's in town- AMAZING!
Thanks again!

Perfect Haven for Harley Riders
Four of us rode cross-country from Ohio and couldn't haven been more pleased with the warm welcome and assistance Kristi provided upon our unexpectedly late night arrival the first night! She was genuinely concerned for us, and made us feel so at-ease after a stressful and tiring day of riding in inclement weather after visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
After the warm welcome, Kristi assisted us with luggage up to the penthouse condo, gave a tour and provided us with all pertinent information. The condo was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay! There is a nice balcony with grill which we used every night after spending our days at nearby Zion and Bryce Canyon. We also checked out lesser-known Cedar Breaks.
The area is high altitude and provides an abundance of beautiful scenery and plenty of things to do nearby. I wish we could've stayed a few more days, but we had a lot more riding and adventuring ahead of us!
Thank you again to Kristi (and neighbor) who made our stay that much more enjoyable with their friendliness and helpfulness :-) We would definitely recommend this condo, and hope to make it back again someday!

Lovely property
This is a beautiful condo with everything you might need and plenty of space. Decorating is lovely and it's very clean. We hiked both Bryce and Zion and found this place a good location in between. I have to say, though, that it is located in a small village that seems created mostly for ORV users in the summer. If you like ORV's and don't mind hearing them a lot, you'll love this place. If you aren't a fan of them, you might want to try someplace else.

weekend at Duck Creek, Utah
Some friends and I went up to Duck Creek over Labor Day (no, we were not pregnant!) We needed some beautiful scenery and cooler temps, to get out of Cali's Central Valley. We were NOT disappointed! the scenery at about 8,600ft. was wonderful, even the drive up from Cedar City driving thru a canyon part of the way was great. This is Red Rock/Canyon Country which is a nice change of pace. Sheer cliffs, Hoodoos, the Virgin River which runs through breathtaking Zion Nat'l Park. Since we figured there would be more to the area than what is on the map, we asked Sheli who rented the condo to us and James who works on the property what off the beaten path places are available. They were quite helpful since they know the area well, especially James who has lived there for many years. The condo itself was very comfortable, it truly was like being at home! It has a full kitchen, large screen tele, comfortable leather couches and lots of wonderful wood for an earthy touch (I loved the wood, I am a nature guy and just loved the wood steps, framing etc.) and very important......4 BATHROOMS! that is a blessing in itself! It was not a good weekend for wildlife except for the last day when a bunch of deer showed up at sundown. Typically there are Elk, Coyote etc. from what Sheli was telling us. One of the cool aspects to the topography was Duck Creek that meandered through the meadow between us and the road. Steam came off it in the A.M. when the Sun would hit it! Would I go back, absitively, Sheli did a great job with the condo and it is central to many great places! Bring warm clothes just in case!

*** This is THE PLACE to stay in Southern Utah! ***Look no further, It's right here!***
Let me tell you, UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC are the words that I can use to describe our trip to this wonderful place. I took my wife for her birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Sheli, the owner, went out of her way to make it special. She even left my wife a gift, WOW! It really felt like home with large bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, modern amenities, and a personal touch from a very thoughtful owner. The pictures are great, but you have to see this beautiful place in person. This place is bigger than many homes! We really enjoyed the location as we woke to a fantastic view of the village, creek, and meadow each day. What a refreshing way to start our days!! One of the best things is how close this place is to Bryce Canyon and Zion. They are both within one hour. We chose Duck Creek as it appeared centrally located on our map and boy were we right on. Couldn't ask for a better place to be in Southern Utah. Locally, Duck Creek offers so much within just minutes of the condo. Cedar Breaks National Monument, Navajo Lake, Cascade Falls, and Strawberry Point can all be seen in one day. If you're coming from the city and just want to relax and see plenty of wildlife and really feel some peace and tranquility, this is the place to be. At the end of long days sightseeing, it was great to come back to a modern, clean, comfortable place that really felt like home. We BBQ'd, relaxed on the deck during the meteor shower and had campfires on a couple of nights. The on site manager was helpful, informative and always available for us. We are thankful that we found such a great place to stay. Sheli, was both personable and professional and we liked that a lot. See you again next time! Thank you again Sheli!

Our 4th of July vacation
What an incredible time we had! Our extended family joined my wife, son, and I, so we had 12 people staying together at the condo, but nobody felt crowded...or ever had to wait for a bathroom. We were able to go to Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, and Panguitch Lake our first day there. The next day was spent being amazed at the sights of Bryce Canyon. We spent day three at Zion...I want to go back there and spend a lot more time hiking. With all the activities we enjoyed during the daytime, the evenings spent together at the condo allowed us to re energize for each days next adventure. My wife loved the gourmet kitchen, and I enjoyed burning a few steaks on the BBQ out front. The kids loved being able to make S'mores at the fire pit, and being able to see so many stars. Thanks to Sheli for the hospitality basket with the S'more makings, and lots of other convenient snacks. (they were a huge hit with the kids) The kids even made friends with one of the local Marmots. They aptly named him "Chubbers". (It didn't look like he missed many meals) The whole family enjoyed being able to gather in the front room, loft, and deck, enjoying being able to reminisce while being surrounded with such natural beauty, and deliciously comfortable temperatures...What a relief, coming from Vegas! We've already made plans to come back to see the Aspen leaves change colors this fall...Can't wait!
