Great Cabin in an Awesome Location

I would buy a cabin in Duck Creek Village any day. That place is amazing. The cabin was great, lots of space and was in the perfect location with a ton of forest behind the cabin to go exploring with kids.

A little slice of heaven

My husband and I booked this house hoping to play in the snow for our anniversary. Although the snow was lacking, the home was still wonderful. So peaceful, fully stocked, well located, we loved it! Perhaps some safety cones over the rebar in the horseshoe pit.

Just a couple things to note...i called the contact but never heard back. It rained really hard 2 nights we were there. The ceiling in the kitchen leaks water all over the counter. There are a few handfuls of light bulbs that are burned out and the hot water for ths hower was very intermittent. Cold showers are not fun. Also there were some cobwebs. The hot tub was fun! Lots of clean and spacious beds. Beautiful location!

Quiet, Private Cabin

Had a great winter get-away here! The cabin was clean and accurate to the pictures. The hot tub was clean and private. We did not have any trouble with the road but definitely pay attention to the warnings about having the right vehicle and being prepared with chains in the winter months.

Spacious cabin

The property was surface clean but it needs some attention to cobwebs and the floors. The location was convenient to duck Creek roads well maintained. The furniture was beautiful and look custom-made but an upgrade to the bedding would really set off the bedroom nicely. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was functional and had everything we need

Just okay

Overall it’s a nice cabin and in a good location. Stayed here with a few friends. But the place was dusty, cobwebs were everywhere, and it had a musty smell inside. The two showers wouldn’t drain so I couldn’t take a shower.

amazing and not for the picky

This place is amazing, so quiet and cozy and direct access to cool hikes, and like other reviews it is not very clean inside or out. The cobwebs and dust are real and we had to rewash any dish we used as they were all dirty and there was trash and even clothing outside near the firepit/horseshoe area. The hottub was so great and also not clean so if you are picky and need things pretty clean, this could be an issue. It is also good to know that 4WD/AWD is pretty necessary. This place is remote, the road is rocky and steep and we almost slid off in 4WD when it was just wet and muddy, not even snowy.

Perfect mountain hide-away

My wife and I just completed our third stay at the cabin and are already mapping out our next trip. Perfect location, perfect setting, perfect ambience, just a great way to spend a few quiet, relaxing days away from our busy lives. The fact that we can bring our dogs is a bonus. The hot tub is the real cherry on top. The house is admittedly too large for our needs, but we basically just ignore the upstairs, haha. The location is right in the middle of a number of adventure opportunities, but if you're like us, you might just find yourself rotating between lounging in the cozy living room while reading, whipping up a quick bite in the well-stocked kitchen, and soaking in the luxurious hot tub off the back deck watching nature.

Water problems

The cabin is big and spacious. Beds comfortable. The only problem is water pressure and water heater I had to keep resetting. Which was a huge inconvenience. But everything else was great. Evolve did offer a discount which was great but still didn't make up for it.

Amazing!!

Thank you so much for our beautiful 4 night stay in your cabin. This has 100% made us understand the hype with renting houses vs hotels. The cabin was exactly as described, no, even better than described and we would absolutely stay again. We did have some issues with hot water but it wasn’t that we had to reset anything but felt like we had to plan according with the waterless tank. However, it certainly didn’t put a damper on anything and not something I needed to reach out for. We had perfect weather but we made sure to rent a 4wd truck anyway thanks to the warnings about getting to the location and I definitely agree that with any kind of weather you will need a hardy vehicle! Thank you again- my husband and I absolutely loved our stay!

Loved my stay but wish I knew certain things beforehand....

Overall we had a pleasant wonderful stay and trip. The cabin was gorgeous and clean! The scenery was beautiful and accommodations were nice! The only thing we wish to have known before booking is in winter months you must and I mean must have an AWD or 4X4 to get to the cabin very high in the mountains and quick turns. Otherwise if you get stuck it's $400 for a tow which we unfortunately incurred. The roads are not maintained so it's a rough drive up and down so be cautious and please don't go unless you have the proper vehicle. Also the guest bathroom shower you need instructions on how to get hot water so we unfortunately took the first showers cold until we reached out to Host which did respond quickly and with videos on how to do so. Otherwise the hot tub was so nice and overall my son enjoyed his birthday stay so thank you!!!

Wasn't what we hoped for

The location is great and the cabin is in OK shape. I was disappointed in our stay because I had 2 requirements for lodging on our little getaway. 1) a fireplace and 2) a hot tub. This property is nice enough, but could be maintained better. Specific issues we had were:The listing said "Free Firewood" but there wasn't any. That's not a huge deal, but if you aren't going to supply it, don't put it in the listing. More important to us was that the hot tub was at 81 degrees when we arrived. Ivan, our contact, said the previous tenant must have left it turned down , but why wasn't it checked by the crew who prepped the cabin the day of our arrival? Unfortunately, the hot tub is a 110V model and never was able to heat up over 98 degrees during our visit of 4 nights, so it wasn't usable for us. Evolve (the management company) credited us 100, but I wish I'd picked the other property I had been looking at. This property could use a manual explaining how to use the various items. I ended up downloading a manual for the hot tub so I could make sure I was had it set correctly to heat up. In warmer weather this property might be nice, but it doesn't handle cold temperatures well. Take the season into account if you are interested in booking this place.

The place setting was great, love it being outdoors. The house could use some better cleaning, mice droppings in cabinets and drawers. Coffee maker was clogged, alot of light bulbs out and outlets not working. The hot tub was not heated and ready for us to use until last day of leaving, when the property manager decided to check the place while there are tenants there. This place could use some improvements, especially for the price we paid.

Mountain House

We enjoyed our stay here, selected to be about an hour away from Bryce and Zion. Lots of room and great stargazing. Manager was very responsive to our questions by text. House does not have a dishwasher, which was fine for short stay with two people but might be unwelcome for a larger group.

Great for getaway

My only complaint was that we didn't stay longer. Beautiful cabin with plenty to do. Fire pit, horseshoes, jacuzzi and tons of space for the whole family.
