Please forgive my imperfections! I am an original! Please be patient while we are making a management transition. This is a learning curve for me. I have been in the restaurant business for 36 years so this is a bit different! LOLS! We are still working to get smart tv's throughout, updating curtains and updating bedding. We have been moving things around to increase your comfort in my beautiful lodge but it will take me some time! Who would have thought this community would be what it is today! I am so grateful to be a part of the Alpine Forest Retreat and my restaurant Aunt Sue's Chalet, 2 doors down. She was built in 1968! There is so many things to do in the area located directly between Zion and Bryce National Parks!
WE OFFER EXCLUSIVE CATERING FOR THIS PROPERTY FROM AUNT SUE'S! WE HAVE RENTAL TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR EVENTS! THERE ARE GIFTSHOPS THOUGHOUT THE VILLAGE, A GAS STATION, MULTIPLE ATV RENTALS, AND TRUE VALUE ALL IN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE LODGE! THERE IS A PIZZA PLACE WITH LIMITED HOURS, A DELI WITH LIMITED HOURS, AND A SPECIALTY COFFEE PLACE IN ADDITION TO AUNT SUE'S! BUT I DIDNT WANT TO MENTION ALL THOSE! LOLS! WE ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!

Loved it! Worked well for our big group with so many different ages. It wasn’t quite as mountain lodge as we expected being nestled on the “main” street between other cabins and an ATV rental. But still we had a great time. We loved Mammoth Cave and Danelle was so personal and helpful. She even took our family picture!!!
The Host explained to us that she just recently took the property over and was working on it as she could. It could use a good deep cleaning but nothing terrible. The back yard is shared and needs a little work. My family had a great time and we would stay there again.
Alpine Forest Lodge was a great location for our family reunion! Each of the 10 bedrooms had its own bathroom. Seven bedrooms were on the main floor! Good sized kitchen and storage room provided 3 refrigerators for ample food storage and meal preparation. The property manager was extremely helpful in answering questions before and during our stay. The shady back lawn was a great gathering place for family meals and entertainment. The location was walkable to delicious neighboring restaurants.
Our stay coincided with a heat wave and the rooms were toasty at night. Some rooms had fans, but rooms generally cooled down by morning.
Overall, it was a great gathering place.
We hope to return in the coming years!
This location is beautiful.. the area the lodge and the owner is very quick to respond and willing to repair on the spot. The dishwasher latch was broke, she wanted to run right down and fix for us. But a little hand washing wasn’t too much for us. We didn’t want repairs while having so many enjoying the lodge for a reunion. I gave 4 stars ⭐️ as the cleaning crew could be a bit more thorough. Cob webs in many areas and hair on the bathroom floor. The dust, I understand. But as thick as the cob webs are they could use some extra attention every few months. Other than that, this is a great place at a great value.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin in duck creek and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how accommodating the cabin was. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities one could ask for. It truly felt like a home away from home.
But what really made my stay exceptional was the fun-filled atmosphere. The cabin had a variety of activities and entertainment options available, ensuring that there was never a dull moment.
I also want to highlight the attentiveness of the host. Loreen went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From providing helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants to promptly addressing any concerns or questions I had, their dedication to making my stay memorable was truly commendable.
Overall, my experience at this cabin was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of its accommodating nature, fun-filled activities, and attentive host made it a truly memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
We had a great time. The Lodge was just right for our extended family reunion.

Had a group of 28. Accommodated us all easily. Great things to do/see close by. Highly recommend
We appreciated the en-suite rooms for the adults and large upstairs rooms for the kids. Mammoth cave, Ice Cave, Cedar Breaks, and fishing are minutes away and were all big hits with kids and adults.
Perfect place for our family reunion Central location plenty of space well stocked and the multiple bathrooms were a real plus Also the owners are great and there was no clean up list which made things super easy to get multiple families in and out by checkout
We planned a guys weekend of riding 4 wheelers, and this was a great place to stay. There is plenty of rooms, and more importantly, plenty of bathrooms!
Great place to have the entire family together AND have your own bathroom! Danelle & family have done a fabulous job improving the property & was very quick to answer any questions we had. The kids (and adults) had a blast playing in the yard, walking to the ice cream shop, etc THANK YOU
Everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms and the dining was big enough for all 11 adults to play games comfortably. Very relaxing environment. Laureen made sure the fireplaces were all lit up for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay.
