About this property
NEW LISTING!! Petra House Stradun Dubrovnik
Petra House Stradun is a stone mansion on the promenade of Stradun, in the very center of historical core of the Old city of Dubrovnik. “Od Sigurate” mansion had been built in Baroque style after the earthquake of 1667 A.D., according to the plans of the architect Giulio Ceruti.Apartments are outfitted by custom-made interiors which succeed to preserve the historical Baroque atmosphere, as much as they answer the modern day needs. The mansion is separated into five apartments allocated on three floors. They are all named after the city-wall towers which encircle the Old city. The first floor is divided between two apartments – Bokar and Sv. Ivan. Bokar apartment is a one bedroom studio with a double bed, a kitchen, a hall and a bathroom. Sv. Ivan apartment has a living room which is separated from the bedroom, and there is a double bed in each of the rooms, in addition to a bathroom and a kitchen. Second-floor Lovrijenac and Minčeta apartments are identical to the apartments on the first floor. On the third floor, you can find the largest and the most luxurious Revelin apartment which consists of a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom, and which can accommodate up to six people (3 double beds). A children’s bed can be added to any apartment. All apartments are equipped with heating and air-conditioning systems, bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, dishwashers and washing machines, free wi-fi, completely equipped kitchens, ice makers and satellite TVs. Location of the House at the famous promenade of Stradun enables the guests to be a part of the Old city and to participate in all the major events of the city. Sometimes all it takes is to open a window. Ceremonial processions, the city watch, numerous artists stride up and down the Stradun, and in addition to that, you can also find gastronomy services, shops, galleries, museums… Apartments are located 200 meters from the seashore, and the city beach with all its content is only a seven-minute walk away.

All great. Very clean. Spacious. Only problem is there is a music venue very close by that plays music late. Bring earplugs.

Remarkable, fantastic location!
Because the location is so good I suspect that the management has decided that the apartments don’t need to be decently equipped. Our large family rented all five apartments and so we know exactly what the deficiencies are. One of the reasons that tourists would rent an apartment is that you might make breakfast or late night snacks instead of going out. These apartments were sparsely equipped. Five apartments and not a breadknife among them. Most did not have a toaster or even a microwave. Very, very poorly equipped.
It could have been such a great experience if the owner could be bothered to spend a few dollars.

Very well located in the center of Main Street of old Dubrovnik
The apartment is very nice, 4 floors, renovated, equipped, and in the best location. However the people did not give you any facility at all at the time of leaving the appartment. Although check was set to be at 10 am, before then there were already the coming guest knocking the door to enter and the cleaning people practically expelled us fro the place although we were travelling with small children.

Great location but poorly equipped
Obviously, this property is in a fantastic location in one of the worlds most beautiful cities. Also I will say that Adrian was a very good communicator and very helpful to us. Now for the things we found wanting:1 This is an old building of course, so there are a lot of steep stairs and dragging luggage up them is no picnic. People need to know this. 2. The apartments are very poorly equipped. Apart from the refridgerators and stoves, there are NO appliances. No coffee makers, no toasters and no microwaves. We rented all five apartments and can attest to the fact that there was not even one bread knife among them.3. As is often the case in Europe the bathrooms have a tub only. No shower curtain at all. I love Europe but hope that someday they will cotton on to the idea that a simple hook on the wall to hold the existing shower head makes life eminently easier.
Loved Dubrovnik but not the property, so much.
