"This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

Location is excellent, tucked away from busy port where the boats and yachts dock yet on a walking distance to excellent restaurants and entrance to the beautiful national park. "This was a nice option if you are looking for a more budget-friendly hotel. Certainly not fancy but decent for the price and good for families with young kids (there is a playground in front of the hotel that even has a small enclosed trampoline park for a small fee). It is more dated for sure than the other places we stayed on our trip, the breakfast was decent but not over the top and we didn't eat any other meals on site. We didn't make it to any since our stay was short, but there are a lot of wineries nearby including some within reasonable walking distance. We liked the location, there are some nice spots and a lovely beach bar that seemed to be a place a lot of locals go. If you wanted to spend most of your time in Korcula Old Town you have to take a taxi or water taxi you may want to opt to stay closer (we couldn't get firm information about that from the hotel and ended up missing it because we didn't know when it stopped running). It's a great location for wineries which we originally planned to visit. We also spent a day at Pupnaska Luka beach which was incredible (but across the island) so we didn't want to stay right in Old Town (we went for sunset/dinner at Old Town once the heat died down a little)."

"Great location in Korcula center right outside the wall and an easy walk from the ferry with suitcases. It’s a historic hotel which meant no elevators - staff offered to carry our bags but we were ok taking them up ourselves thru 3 levels. Room had a nice view but was tight and bathroom even smaller (really tight). However we were barely in the room. Plenty of hot water n good water pressure. Bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable which along with a cold AC made for a good night of sleep. Included bfast had a lot of options with warm and cold items - e.g. chia seed pudding, fruits, eggs, bacon, veggies. The departure day was early for us so the manager packed us bfast sandwiches with fruits/cake n water to go. The staff was always happy to fill your bottle with iced water. Loved exploring Korcula from this hotel and had a great time. Later this year the hotel will go through renovations so rooms/bathrooms may be different after. I would recommend staying here!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Korcula Hill! The location is perfect for access to local beaches, restaurants and of course, Korcula Old Town. Our room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to make ourselves at home for 3 nights. The amenities are great - super helpful staff, nice gym, parking garage, and very close walk to the beach. Our stay on Korcula was our favorite part of our trip to Croatia, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay!"

"The villa is extremely comfortable, the location is outstanding, the facilities are perfect. Your recommendations have been so helpful. We rented our boat from Petar at Orebic Adventures as you recommended and we loved having a boat to explore all the islands and it’s great to have our own mooring here in the bay. We have had great restaurant experiences and have enjoyed cooking in your outdoor kitchen. Your local guy Luksa brought us a basket of produce when we arrived and we bought fruit at the stall on the way into Orebic. The beds are super comfortable. Mokalo beach is beautiful and we enjoyed having our private terrace above it. It’s super helpful having the facilities of the two campsites there and we used their restaurants and the bread van in the mornings. The outdoor shower is great. The lighting on the terraces is lovely in the evenings and we loved star gazing on the roof. All in all it’s been a very relaxing week in a perfect spot. Thank you for all you have done to make it so fabulous."
