The location and overall impression was good when I stayed with my wife there but on the last day everything was ruined when a housekeeping staff member entered our room without our permission while we were sleeping inside the room. That was unacceptable as it was a severe intrusion to our privacy. I reported to the manager but he responded formally. So I have to call the police and they responded very fast. My privacy and security of valuables was compromised so I don't know whats their policy for guests regarding this. I was offered free breakfast as compensation while I was leaving the same night.

Could not be happier. Excellent!!
Stayed here for 4 nights recently and can not say anything but good about this hotel. The location was very central, a very short taxi ride to Dubai Mall but there was also a regular shuttle bus. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were of an excellent standard. Not only were we upgraded, but we were allowed to check in early. This helped massively having come of a night flight with 2 very young children. The staff were beyond excellent and the service we received was beyond exceptional. They were all so helpful and polite however I do have to mention Roshan by name. He was super helpful and never seemed annoyed. It was quite sad to leave having had such a good experience and I hope to see you all again soon. Thank you once again.

Very isolated. Poor dining within hotel.
Room accommodations were very good. Unable to dine within hotel. Took forever and a day to prepare an omelette in AM. Dependent on taxis to go anywhere. For price paid, would have expected breakfast - even if it would have take long time to prepare

Comfortable and convenient 24 stop over
Close to everything - especially shopping. Self-contained apartment style room which was generally well kept and comfortable. Having stayed in a few UAE hotels now, this will be the one I will go back to.

Overall we had a good time
The staff was very friendly. Sometimes the wifi would go out. The hotel was very quiet and in a good location. Its very hard to get food after 1500 because that's when their restaurant closes at the hotel. We walked across the street to another hotel for food and entertainment. The pool was under construction and our room smelled like sewage from time to time. Overall it is a pretty good hotel. I think the price was a bit high for what we received.

Business Bay address, but really Downtown location. Great staff, excellent rooms, highly recommend the two bed suite. Mention Mr Mukadam's recommendation! Might help better your stay as I have promised referrals.

...it was quite a short stay but it was a very good hotel that has excellent staff who really take the trouble to look after you.... the restaurant is an absolute delight with top quality food and very good breakfast..the bedroom is stylish as well....a short downhill walk gets you into the main street and Dubai Mall..everything was convenient..

Had a good experience, the staff were excellent and the food was great. The room was comfortable. It was an apartment so had a separate room. Would have been nice if the kitchen came with sponges / dish washing liquid or dish washer liquid. Could have been a bit cleaner. It was noisy being close to the pool as the balcony door could not shut properly. However I believe this could be a one off room and the rest of the hotel is great. A small play area for the kids was also handy. The bus to the Mall was quite handy, however not sure why there was a 4 hour gap after lunchtime between pick ups!

Overall it depends how much you pay for it
Advntages - Not too far from downtown, however cant walk to downtown because its dusty and so much construction around - price is reasonable - clean - easy parking - new hotel Disadvantages - Hotel looks better in pictures - staff was not expirence enough, I prepaid for my room but they asked me that I need to pay because they are not sure if they received the paymwnt and cant check because thier reswrvation office is closed after 9 pm. - Damac in general tents to over stretch the truth - pushy sales people of damac real estate at lobby - food is not all that - nothing within walking distance from the hotel, like coffee or restaurants and ets

Observing DAMAC quality!
The hotel location was so hard to find even in The navigator. Also, bathroom glass curtain was not preventing water from leaking. The staff were great.

Great apartments!
I stayed in a studio apartment, it was new, clean and nice. Internet was fast, enjoyed the stay there. The only thing for now, there is so many construction around the hotel, and no close by services like supermarket or a restursnt, however Dubai mall is a walking distance in winter!

Nice motel
It's is a nice motel for families and long stays. The lobby is small, and there is no bar and the restaurant closes at 11 which is early for Dubai. In addition the surrounding area is still underdeveloped lots of sand views and buildings under construction. It is a good place for long stays as a five star motel.

The hotel is hard to find, must put a sign in the other side of the hotel. I ask for extra bed the time I checked in but no beds available, instead I got a mattress only, other than that, everything was great

The hotel is new, and with that comes many problems: In room dining close at 11 pm. Noise from construction around it and with in the hotel. Air conditioning was bad and not well distributed over the rooms, some rooms are cold and some are hot. One TV in living room. Taxis do not know the location. Positive things are: staff are excellent. I do not recommend the hotel if you are light sleeper

Situated near Dubai Mall it is set back enough not to hear all the drama that is Downtown. Over looking the canal it offer a great kids friendly swimming pool and play ground for younger children. Pleasant clean design a nice place to stay. However you need to arrange taxis in advance as unlike other hotels taxis are not at the door waiting.

Taxis didn't know which of the 5 Damac buildings to take us. Driving through a concrete building site. Hotel only 2 months old, fridge not turned on, water from shower leaked onto floor owing to bad design of shower glass screen, b'room fan didn't work. Air cond takes too long to readjust temp. Bed very firm. Suggest staying downtown rather than Marina. Staff were lovely though.

Arrived at the hotel after an early morning flight. Check in was not for another 7 hours but the staff allowed us to check in early which was truly kind and all the staff were very friendly and helpful

Global Business Traveler Judgement? World-Class!
From moment one, you're impressed. This is a brand new building, as of Apr '15. Centrally located in Dubai, but do bring a map for precise directions. And fairly quiet. Good: Staff are fresh and keen to help. Housekeeping is world-class, 5 star, and open to personalization. Wifi is avg speed (8mbit during peak, 22mb off-peak) but quite reliable (ask for long term access code). Decent meeting room onsite. Projector available on request (!). Gym is small but well appointed. Two pools outside, they look nice! Mustafa is a fantastic Duty Manager who can help with any customization needed. Anything you're looking for to make your visit extra special, he is at the ready with "I Know Someone..." Bad: Only one power outlet for Toaster&Microwave&Kettle, so that means cord juggalo every morning. A simple power-board/adapter would help that. (or maybe an architect who thought to put more than one plug in a kitchen at build?) Valet is still learning as it's a new build. Ugly: Appliances were un-used/tested, so we had a first-time oven that filled the apt with thick smoke. Yay. Improvements: 4.5 to 5 Star... but no modern alarm/phone dock in a 2015 new build? No (even v basic) entertainment hookup for laptop/ipad video connect? Please hotel designers of the world... more than just ONE solitary empty power socket in the entire room. BYO power boards are no fun.

Downtown, Dubai another choice
As Downtown Dubai expands Damac brand is growing with a constant standard to be expected. This is a very new Hotel with a few services yet to start, cafe by the pool, but the bones are there and the location on the camel is pleasant. Located within walking distance of Dubai Mall district, or a 12.5 Dhr taxi ride, shopping and restaurants are unlimited. Pool side was relaxing and the children's play area a nice touch. Will be great when all services operational. With the new, but old, tram about to commence service along the Boulevard you now have the extreme paradox, tram vs Ferrari vs Mercedes vs Matt Black Rolls Royce Drophead, vs ..... etc

ayed in your hotel 2nights ago and checked out yesterday .... the stay was way below expectations from the time of checkin experience till checkout  I will summarize the issues in the following 1.map associated with the booking confirmation was for canal mot vogue 2. Other guests luggage were packed in my car which made your hotel driver chase me around in dubai to retrieve a mistake by your conciege 3. The room smelled 4. The ac had a mind of its own all night 5. The restraunt closes at 10 pm... u cant order room service and there is no water and no anything in the room 6. The towels are off white. A colour never to be used in a hotel for hygenic and cleaness purposes  7. The bath tub is too high for a child or an elderly which will cause an accident to your guests if not careful 8. The pillows were many but anything but comfortable  9. As i was leaving my room i ran into to technicians working and gluing on the floor 10. The floor had me and other guests with  little kids yet their were 2 technicians spraying  pesticides???? The floor needed to be empty not with guests 11. The elevator door got stuckon one of the floors ... and in the elevator with me were technicians and labor though its the main elevator and not the surface elevator For a brand like damac maison .... am sorry to say u didnt meet my expectations for this uncomfortable  stay I have stayed in hotels all around the world and never seen so many uncomfortable issues in a 1 night stay

Pris og kvalitet hænger ikke sammen!
Vi havde booket en overnatning på dette hotel 100% pga beliggenhed, da jeg havde et møde i nærheden! På indtjeknings dagen kl. 14:00, bliver jeg så ringet op af hotellet, de har flyttet os til et andet hotel der lå 10 min i bil derfra og vi havde ikke noget valg! Meget speciel oplevelse! Vi endte med at bo på Damac maison cour Jardin. Hotel og værelse var ok! Men kl. 1:30 om morgenen banker det på døren (og dette med et do not disturb skilt) og vi bliver spurgt om vi vil have et ekstra tæppe! Yderligere mangler Hairdryer på værelset (selvom den skulle være der), vi ringer til receptionen og beder dem om at komme med en, efter at have ventet i 30 min, må vi ringe og rykke for den. Da vi bestiller espresso til morgenmaden bliver vi oplyst om at "kaffemaskinen" er til reparation, så vi kan "kun" få instant coffee. Dette er ikke et billigt hotel og desværre hænger pris og kvalitet slet ikke sammen.
