Quaint cottage on a 103 acre private setting with all the amenities you will need. Full modern kitchen, rustic decor, open design floor plan with gas fireplace with great views of the 7 acre lake and the abundant wildlife. Two private decks with one having a lake view and the other overlooking the rear yard. Grill and outdoor fire pit to roast those marshmallows under the stars. Three miles of paved walking trails wind through the property. Close to Redbank Valley Rails to Trails and also Kayaking on the Redbank Creek. Whether you are looking to unwind and do nothing or are seeking an outdoor adventure, this property is for you.

Short respite

This was the perfect break. Completely calm, peaceful, accommodating space. We enjoyed the moss-covered walking paths, and quiet time on the front and back decks. We would gladly return!

This place was perfect for my husband and I's one year anniversary. We absolutely loved this place and how cozy and relaxing the atmosphere was. This place is insanely clean, well-kept, and the owners are incredibly considerate with what they keep available at the cabin for you to use. The french toast muffins were amazing, the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal away from home, the bathroom was well stocked, the bedroom even had extra pillows and blankets (and a stand up fan!), and we loved the variety of movies, games, and books! There are many places to walk and explore, we loved the trail from the back of the cabin that leads up around to the top of the hill. The view up there is truly something else. The lake, the fall leaves, how quiet it is out there.. I could not speak highly enough of this little gem of a place out in the middle of nowhere. Thank you Timothy and Jennifer! We cannot wait to come back.

Very quiet and serene property

We only spent one at this property but is was a very nice stay. The photos are a good representation of the property. We enjoyed walking on the trails around the house and sitting by a campfire in the evening.

Relaxing getaway. Unplugged edition.

Great getaway for the extended weekend to relax and recharge. Beautiful property. Loved the trails and the views. Went out nearby to scripture rocks and beat town rocks. Nice little hikes. Highly recommend this place for those who want to getaway.

Awesome stay

Amazing trails, awesome wildlife viewing on trails in comparison to public trails. Super well maintained and pedicured property without taking away from the fields and wooded areas. The cabin is a short walk to the lake, and watching the fireflies in the evenings was amazing. Was looking forward to star gazing but it was pretty cloudy, I assume it would be phenomenal!

The retreat oasis’s

This a perfect spot to connect with nature and bask in beautiful views! I needed a place for solitude and reflection and this property hit the mark. It was clean, well cared for, and the owners have such a gift of hospitality! Every detail was just so thoughtfully planned out by them. The private hiking trails were such a bonus! Beautiful scenery

I can’t wait to come back next year! The cabin is gorgeous and secluded which I enjoyed. All the details were left in a binder so I didn’t need to ask any questions. I took full advantage of the fire pit but on the rainy days I was grateful for the Wi-Fi service. And don’t forget the view of the lake, absolutely stunning!

Beautiful and Relaxing

This is a beautiful place, and to call it a cabin doesn't do it full justice. We had a fabulous and relaxing weekend - just what we wanted. Tim and Jennifer are fantastic hosts, and quick to respond for any reach out. The wine is great, and the muffins are phenomenal. Thank you for allowing us to spend a small amount of time in such a wonderful location and setting. We hope to be back again in the future! If you are considering their place, you most assuredly won't be disappointed.

A piece of Paradise!!!

Wow, what an AMAZING and absolutely BEAUTIFUL place! I'd give it 10 stars! Immaculately clean, beyond beautiful, so comfortable, the perfect lake, husband loved the fishing, used the kayak and paddleboat, and did all the trails! We knew we want to come back the minute we walked in. There were homemade muffins too and we loved the homemade wine he makes there you can purchase! Such a gorgeous property. The pictures just cant give you the feel of its beauty. The fall leaves were awesome. There is a reason everyone gives it a 10! come back the minute we walked in

One of the best trips ever!!!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at one of the most amazing places! We had the opportunity to swim, fish, kayak and paddle boat at a lake right on the property within walk distance of the house we stayed at. Around the whole property there were many beautiful trails that were great to get some exercise in and also to enjoy the local wildlife and scenery. Words cannot express the great craftsmanship and care that went into this house. Tim truly provides anything you could need. Highly recommend also trying his delicious wine. His dog Dakota also came down to visit us for about 15 minutes when we built a fire out back and he is one of the friendliest dogs we have ever met. Truly a memorable stay and we will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!!!

Secluded Retreat

This was a beautiful property! Living area was immaculately clean, high quality appliances, countertops, woodwork, and flooring. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the pond and paddle boat (catch and release fishing). Took walks along the paved hiking paths. We also traveled the countryside and found fresh strawberries, jams, sauces, breads, and Amish baked goods. Host was very attentive when needed, but did not bother us during our stay. Wines available for purchase on site. Note to guests: this is in a rural community and we recommend planning on preparing your own meals on site as we did. However, there is a great small pizza shop nearby, Mama Rita's (about a 15-20 min drive). The kitchen supplies (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) were well stocked and nice quality. We had everything we needed for cooking. Also enjoyed the outdoor grill. The living quarter is above a garage, so there are 16 steps to get up to the room. I would not recommend this location for anyone that has difficulty with walking/steps. But if you are able, we highly recommend talking the hike around in the woods and up the hillside to see the view of the property. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely look to stay here again.

Just what the doctor ordered

If you’re looking for a place to stay where you feel so calm and relaxed, this is it! This was like mental health wellness retreat for me. I woke up every morning with a beautiful view of the sunrise, burning off the morning fog on the lake. Straight from a movie scene. My favorite part was the walking paths through the woods. It was so serene and at times magical. I was literally obsessed with a particular part that was covered with moss with the trees and the way the sun shone through. So good!! When you crest the top of the mountain, you came upon scenery you only EVER see on a postcard. I took so many photos and videos. Everyday nature brought something new. I never wanted to forget those views. I strolled around the lake every evening and I noticed something different every night. I sat in the adorable gazebo, just a short walk down the pier. It lit up at night and you can see it from the cottages living room window. Like…how romantic!?!? The sky was so dark there, you could see millions of stars so clearly. The cottage was the cutest thing!! Nestled away from the neighbors, yet as a solo traveler, I felt a sense of safety. It was very clean, very modern, and the decor was gorgeous!! It’s really the perfect size for one. I personally loved the deer head on the wall. I named him Jimmy! Besties!! I spoke to Tim a few times and he was very kind and helpful with questions I had. Thanks Tim for being a great host! I definitely will be booking again in the near future.
