Great place to stay

A great place to relax and in the middle of plenty to do. Philly, Hershey, Gettysburg, Lancaster all within driving distance. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. Thanks for the great place to stay guys, we will definitely be back again if its available :)

Family Vacation

This home was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Very comfortable and spacious. The only issue was that there was no cell phone service and the internet was not reliable. Other than that I would highly recommend this property.

Ladies getaway

Relaxing

The pictures does no justice to this listing. It was absolutely beautiful and the stay was awesome. The hostbwas kind and generous. We had everything that we needed. Definitely would book again if I am going to be in the area.

Simply the best!

We stayed for 3 weeks and were sad to leave our cottage in the woods. (We are city people who love waking up to birdsong.) - Such a spacious and cozy house, well equipped, tastefully furnished. It doesn‘t take long to settle in and feel at home. And: Thanks again to Laura for everything!!

We love this Creekside Cottage!! It is so peaceful with the creek and has plenty of space for our extended family. Carol is wonderful to coordinate with and we have a fantastic time every time we stay!!

Family Trip

We enjoyed our 3rd trip to the Cottage. We sat out by the fire pit, played knock hockey and visited the nearby horses. Great place for family time.

Great Wooded Retreat

Our family stayed here during my brothers wedding weekend at Drumore Mill and it could not have been more perfect - lots of space, everything in the kitchen that you could need, comfortable beds, and TVs and speakers in nearly every room. Loved the seclusion and the space - would highly recommend a stay here for a large family or a group getting away.

Family Time!

The property is very peaceful! The home is spacious and well thought out - air hockey was a great hit with the kids! This was our 2nd stay and the property is awesome - it is a scenic drive to Lancaster and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay and are trying to plan a return trip!

Family vacation

Creekside Cottage was the perfect place for our family vacation. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. The manager Carol was wonderful to work with and get to know. My grandkids loved everything about our stay there.

One of the best rental we’ve ever had

The spot is calm and very clean. A lot of room and space inside and outside. Close enough to Lancaster city so it’s east to go and far enough so you can live some wilderness experience. We all loved it.

Family wedding weekend

This was a second time stay and it did not disappoint . The location is perfect and serene with enough space to gather together inside and out. Host is very responsive. The property is welcoming and feels like home.

Christmas weekend with family

Booked hime for a chrostmas weekend with family. House was very clean and cozy. The parlor room was kids favorite. Nice secluded area with Amish/Lancaster attractions close by. Would definitely consider staying again.

Second times a charm

This was our second time staying at Creekside Cottage. It's cozy and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our 3 families coming together to celebrate New Years Eve. We like the quiet location. It doesn't feel like a generic rental, it feels like a home. We played lots of board games and roasted smores in the firepit. I would recommend to families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the creek and the horseback riders passing through.

Loved everything about it. There was a little confusion about the code to get access, and at one point it seemed our reservation had somehow been canceled, but we were able to straighten those things out quickly. The spaces worked perfectly for our family with the adults having private rooms, and then a space for the four boys and another space for the four girls. The eight grandchildren, ages 6 to 12, found lots to do. The 4 boys were mostly outside in the beautiful weather. The four girls were in and out and talked Grandma one mom into doing a creek walk which was great fun. The adults enjoyed chats around the fireplace and games around the large dining room table. We were only 35 minutes away from Sight and Sound theater, which everybody loved and which is what brought us to the area. We enjoyed hiking at the Susquehanna State Park, which is just a few miles away and we found the Central Market in the heart of Lancaster to be an intriguing change of pace. Grandma loved sitting out on the deck in the quiet of the early morning with her coffee and her Bible, listening to the babbling creek and the birds and the sound of acorns hitting the ground. There was so much more we would’ve like to do but we will have to save it for another trip.

Sibling Reunion

This house was perfect for our sibling reunion. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, s’mores in the fit pit, dinner with an Amish family and touring Lancaster. Carol, the manager of this property, is a delight and so easy to work with.

Winter wonderland

This was our 2nd trip to Creekside Cottage, both times in January, both times with my extended family. We continue to appreciate the 1st floor master bedroom for our older parents (no stairs); the basement rec room for the kids; the well-appointed kitchen; and the marvelous view from the living room. Lots of snow on this trip, which the whole family enjoyed playing in and looking at from the warm interior. Great communication and support from the hosts. We'd definitely book again! Thank you for providing this great space for making memories!

Excellent Choice

Creekside Cottage and Carol (property manager) are very welcoming! This was the perfect choice for our family for a wedding weekend. Safe place to enjoy an early morning walk and an outdoor read as well as plenty of space for us to prep for the wedding. We would like to return in the future 😁

Beautiful cottage in lovely secluded location.

My mom sisters and aunt sister at the cottage for our annual girls getaway weekend and fell in love with the place. It was beautifully decorated, clean with plenty of room to spread out. The property is secluded while overlooking the creek and rolling hills and fields. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to use the fire pit, it it was in the perfect location in the back k of the property. It was an amazing setting and the fall colors were gorgeous.We plan to come back next year!!!

Great Country Hideaway

My family has stayed at Creekside Cottage for 3 years in a row and we plan to return. We love the location about 30 minutes from Sight & Sound Theatre but out in "the country" with a creek running through and a firepit to help enjoy the outdoor setting. The house is clean and roomy with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. There is little traffic and we've enjoyed walking the lane to feed the horses. The hostess is great to work with and very responsive to any concerns.

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

Our family including grandkids, thoroughly enjoyed this quiet countryside house. The accommodations were perfect for our party of 10. The grandchildren loved the outdoors, feeding the horses, and the spaciousness of the house. Carol, the property manager saw to our every need. The house was beautiful with fall decorations. We enjoyed the new fire pit and look forward to our next trip to the Lancaster area.
