Gorgeous home in Drnis

Villa Mary combines the characteristics of the Dalmatian hinterland with its appearance and surroundings. The stone exterior, which is also reflected in the interior design, wooden beams on the ceilings and the wooden details of the furniture exude Dalmatian charm, but all the amenities for a modern lifestyle are of course present. This single-storey home is an excellent choice for families with children as all rooms are easily accessible. The open-plan layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen allows direct access to the beautiful outdoor terrace. Four spacious bedrooms, bathrooms in every room and amenities in the form of air conditioning and television ensure your privacy and comfort for optimal relaxation. Spend your days in the pool, surrounded by olive trees and the scent of lavender to cool off in the summer heat or with a drink on the many sun loungers around the pool. Your little ones will not miss out either by the pool or on the swings set up especially for them in the garden. Start your day with a morning coffee and end it with dinner on the outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of the garden.The Dalmatian hinterland, especially the area around ibenik, is known for its beautiful nature, excellent climate and delicious cuisine. Just a short drive from the villa you will find mountains, beautiful waterfalls in Krka National Park and the sunny Croatian coast. If you like exploring, we recommend visiting the town of ibenik, known for its rich cultural heritage. The sights that particularly stand out are the Cathedral of St James and the Fortress of St Nicholas, which have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The villa is also located near the ikola river gorge, where you can go hiking or those seeking adrenaline can try the zip line and experience the region from a bird's eye view.

Unser zweiwöchiger Aufenthalt mit 2 Familien und Hund war wunderschön. Einrichtung super, die Küche ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht (Kühlschrank für 8 Personen etwas klein).Die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Der Pool ist ein Traum, und es sind genug Liegen vorhanden. Ein Highlight war der gemauerte Grill mit elektrischem Drehspiess! Die Villa verfügt über einen Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, aber auch ziemlich abgelegen. Der nächste kleine Supermarkt, Bäcker und Metzger sind ca 20 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt. Bis Šibenik und an einen Strand ca 30-40 Minuten. Der einzige Minuspunkt war das Wlan. Für 7 Personen (davon 3 Teenager) war es quasi nicht existent.

Wir waren im August 2023.

Wir waren im August 2023. mit unseren Hund in der Villa Marija/Mary und haben jeden Tag dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt und super ausgestattet mit allem was man zum Kochen oder zum Grillen braucht. Der Garten ist sehr gross und mit viel Schatten sehr gut für Kinder und Haustiere geeignet, Die Villa ist ziemlich abgelegen aber wir haben einen ruhigen Ort gesucht und für uns war es genau das Richtige für einen entspannten Urlaub. Der Pool ist ziemlich gross, vielleicht das einzige Minus ist das es nicht beheitzt ist, aber im August war für uns die Wassertemperatur optimal und wir haben den Pool jeden Tag benutzt. Empfehlen würde ich einen Ausflug nach Visovac, Šibenik und Skradin - Krka Wasserfälle.
