"My wife and I were looking for a great getaway in the San Juan Islands and this was the right pick. Pictures are accurate, waking up to the sunrise on the bay was rejuvenating. We found a few strawberries in the garden that were peak flavor and I had to marvel at how great the location is. The house is cozy, has a nice aesthetic and you can feel how deliberately the hosts care for it. "

"My brother and I stayed here five nights in September 2025. This is a wonderful house on the water with beach access and island views looking north to Orcas Island. It’s a great point of origin for walks and bike rides, and you could kayak from the beach since it’s a low bank. This is a custom home with high quality furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need but be sure to bring salt/pepper and cooking oil. The pillows are good but the beds need upgrading. The guest room beds were so uncomfortable that my brother said they were the only deterrent to returning. Otherwise, the only other recommendation I would make is for the lower kitchen cabinets to get cleaned out. And the space under the kitchen sink needs a good cleaning. "
