"What an INCREDIBLE place!!!! I can highly recommend Hartford House from the beautiful rooms, on point service and the gorgeous landscaping! We spent 3 nights here celebrating our 5 year anniversary and had blissful weekend! They have a very talented chef and we did their 6 course tasting menu two nights, one with wine pairing and they have a very knowledgeable Sommelier- Kathryn! "The Himeville Arms is a newly renovated country inn. The Inn itself is decorated nicely and kept up to date, including a pub, several dining areas as well as sitting areas. It is really nice. "We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens."
