We call it The Wonder House

This is possibly the nicest house we've ever stayed in, beautifully laid out, tastefully furnished and with a piano! The view is breathtaking and we have never seen the need to leave poolside for days on end. The owner is as nice as pie and the local maintenance team are efficient and friendly. I couldn't recommend the house too highly. Seillans is a lovely village, and we have a great liking for Bargemon, just a few kilometres away. It's an hour to Nice and less to St Tropez but one just doesn't want to leave.

Fantastisch verblijf op een waanzinnige locatie!

We hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke week gehad in dit prachtige huis met waanzinnig uitzicht! Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren en een heel schoon sfeervol huis.

Maison très agréable

Une super semaine dans une belle maison très bien équipée . Le seul défaut (pas lié à la maison ) : le nombre de taons très agressifs. Mais pour le reste , c’était top avec des propriétaires très accueillants

Luxe vakantievilla in Seillans

Zeer verzorgde woning met alle comfort op een schitterende lokatie. Fenomenaal uitzicht over de wijde omgeving. Fantastisch zwembad en gezellige terassen. Super vriendelijk onthaal. Absolute topper!

Ein tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir waren für 11 Tage in diesem fantastischen Haus. Es ist modern, großräumig und vollständig eingerichtet. Vom ersten Moment entsteht ein Wohlfühlgefühl. Die Lage ist ein Traum ! Sonne von frühem Morgen bis zum späten Abend ohne Unterbrechung. Der Blick ist atemberaubend. Man sieht die Provence von Grasse bis nach Draguinan. Für Hiker und Mountain Biker geht es direkt am Haus los. Es ist keine Frage wir kommen wieder!

A perfect stay

We have been here three times now and keep coming back. This very tastefully furnished and well equipped house with its great surroundings and breathtaking view offers all we could wish for. Even though this time we were here in april, the weather was good and temperatures high enough to spend hours at the poolside. There we would let our gaze wander over the splendid panorama not wanting to leave anymore. If you still wish to – or in case weather does get bad - Grasse, les Gorges du Verdon, Cannes, Nice and St. Tropez are reached whithin 1.5 hrs max. Will be back again!

Best villa ever

We have stayed in many villas around Seillans but this is the one we keep coming back to. It has this wonderful atmosphere, unbeatable 180 views that are always changing.The house itself is really lovely - everything works perfectly and if there is a slight problem it is immediately addressed. Very efficient management! And - the icing on the cake! - a fantastic concert piano. What else to ask?.... We are back later this summer and cannot wait. Thank you!

Fabulous house and location

We have rented houses near Seillans before, but this house was by far the best we have stayed in. The house was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The views from the house and garden are spectacular and we spent many happy days floating on the infinity pool and gazing out over the mountains. The huge covered terrace outside the kitchen makes the perfect outdoor dining/living room, even when the weather isn’t its best! The location of the house is wonderful - not only for the views but also the peace and quiet and great walks through the local wooded hills. We loved staying at this house so much, that we are returning for another visit in a couple of months time. There can be no better recommendation than that!

Home sick

I promised myself writing a review because we've been there several times and never wrote one. In 2010 first my husband went with his 5 brothers (second time, good tradition) in march, then my own family (4 kids) in late september en finally around New Year's Eve a very enjoyable stay with friends. Everybody enjoyed it so much because there is plenty enough room to do your own thing (my husband didn't bother them with his piano exercises). A wunderful nice breakfast in open air and beautiful view, a well equiped kitchen (mixer has arrived in the meanwhile) for cooking together a pleasant diner and after all the fireplace for a better conversation. My (grown up) children love this house and swimming pool very much (we were there before in 2007) and we, my brothers-in-law and friends enjoyed the quiet region (beautiful walks, cycling-tour) and the splendid view. Everything was perfectly arranged, clean, well maintained. A good swimming pool service too. I certainly can recommend this property to friends. And I do. It's rather expensive for a couple but the house is very suitable (and then also affordable) for 6 persons. Note: the white wine Val d'Iris (down the hill) is much better then the red one. Carolien

Beyond all expectation!

We stayed here with three couples in the week around New Year. We had a wonderful time. It was my first time in Seillans. Everything was beyond expectation: - The house is spacious, but pleasant. I felt at home immediately. - The view is gorgeous. I could not get enough of it. It changes all the time. The starry sky is also breathtaking because of the darkness around the house. - The nature and walking possbilities. I love walking and it was wonderful to experience the area and enjoy the nature and silence. - The weather. It was dry, not very cold, often sunny. We even had breakfast outside on New Year's day! We would like to come back here with our children and their partners. This place has something for everybody. I love it!

Provenzalisches Lebensgefühl

Die Ausschreibung entspricht genau den Tatsachen. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderschön und man geniesst in Haus und Garten volle Privatsphäre. Das geheizte Schwimmbad gewährt einen grossartigen Ausblick auf die Umgebung. Die Terrasse ist gross und es weht immer eine kühle Brise. Alle Zimmer sind hell und bieten einen weiten Ausblick. Die Räume im Haus waren sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche ist komfortabel. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer. Das Mobiliar ist geschmackvoll und zweckmässig, sollte aber noch durch kleine Ablegetische in den Schlafzimmern ergänzt werden. Auch die Beleuchtung beim Esstisch könnte noch verbessert werden. Der Bechstein-Flügel lässt das Herz von Musikliebhabern höher schlagen. - In der Nähe des Hauses findet man schöne Wanderwege und auch das Dorf Seillans ist sehenswert und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Sehenswert sind auch die umliegenden "Villages perchés" und die provenzalischen Märkte. - Das Haus ist geeignet für Leute, die das "provenzalische Lebensgefühl" geniessen möchten. - Nicht geeignet erscheint uns das Haus für Gehbehinderte und Kleinkinder im "Krabbelalter". - Die Vermieter und der Verwalter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hoffen, dass wir weitere Ferien in diesem Ferienhaus verbringen können.

Great week!

We've just come home after a great week in this fantastic house. The view is really spectacular and must be seen. All of us, 5 adults and 2 children from 3 months up to 72 years old had a great time. Before making the reservation we had some doubts about the steep bank others had warned for. But despite that our oldest son is only 3,5 years old and always exploring the neighbourhood, everything went well and we were never worried once we got there.

A relaxing 'away from it all'

We took our break in March 2009, weather was beautiful which helps as the views are absolutely breathtaking. The pictures are exactly representative of the villa. It is a little stark with few home comforts....a rug in the lounge and more subtle lighting would make it feel less empty and hollow. The kitchen was well equipped and the cooker, at first sight, is daunting, but is scarily efficient. The outside space remains unfinished... outside the lounge is a patio with approx a metre drop. The approach to the property is therefore less spectacular than the amazing view when you enter. In March, there isn't a huge amount to do in the local area i.e. Seillans and Bargemon.... but it is only 40 minutes to Cannes and Frejus which help you get a little more life. The owner was extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend it.

Spring 2009

Had a great week here in May, Villa was everything we had hoped for, the girls enjoyed trips to Grasse and Monte. Lunch 1,000's of feet up on the cliffs edge at Rougon, Canyon du Verdon was a highlight as was dinner at Hotel les Deux Rocs. We managed to swim each day as the weather was scorchio. Overall a super property both in terms of location and facilities. Recommended.
