We had an amazing time with so much to explore on the property. Fantastic view of the valley from the grill/fire pit area. Impressed by the fire pits prepared to light and the abundance of wood available. Nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of games and activities. Our friendly host, Brenda, was eager to help with our every need. Thank you for a great stay!
This property is nothing short of heaven! The views are breathtaking. They have just about everything you need and then some! I also had the chance to do a reiki session with Brenda while there and I highly recommend it! She’s authentic and takes the time to educate you. This weekend was heaven on earth! We were hiding out while we put our house on the market and she allowed us to check in a day early ($) and stay later into the afternoon Perfection!
this was our 2nd stay and i loved it just as much! we sold our house and moved 2.5 hrs away to Franklin County. Brenda and Joe’s place is a little slice of heaven!
This was the perfect house for our family to stay at during a wedding weekend in Spring Run. Communication with the host was easy and fast and they were very accommodating. Check in was easy and the house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for the stay. The location was gorgeous and the guys in our group enjoyed playing frisbee golf. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway.
We loved the home we stayed at! The property was beautiful, and was exactly as listed. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone who wants to get away for a little while!
Brenda and Joe are wonderful hosts! Their property is absolutely fun and stunning! We all loved it!
From the City to this beautiful escape, it was absolutely the perfect getaway vacation for our family of us and 4 adult children! We had such a great time! Brenda and Joe are so friendly, but give you space. The house was so much fun with the property games and activities! Fishing catch and release in the pond, disc golf, foose ball, dual basketball, cards, board games, so much more and a campfire to end each night! Just perfect! Thanks for all the wood Joe! We realized why it took 30-60 minutes to travel anywhere, but we had so much fun in our adventures. Hiking in nearby forests, geocacheing, boating at Raystown Lake and just taking in local sites and sounds and good eats! Cowan's Gap was a favorite spot to visit, especially the tower view. We got to experience seeing a coyote, eagles and I almost ran over a porcupine! Many other farm animals and local bunnies and deer running about! We made great family memories and had so much family fun! Thanks for the true "glamping" experience!

Breathtaking views, comfortable living
There were six adults and two children, and plenty of room for us all. The two full baths and modern well stocked kitchen were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have all towels and linens provided. But the real star of this show is the amazing vista right outside the sliding glass doors! If you long to sit outside around the campfire and hear only sounds of nature, while visually taking in the jaw dropping mountain view then this is the place for you! The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive at all. They knocked on the door once to let us know the deer were feeding in the backyard just outside the tree line. There was a small herd of adult deer with a few fawn. What a nice surprise! They had wood already stacked in the fire ring when we arrived, and we took full advantage of that. They have additional wood if you need it. Our first fire was plenty to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. The owners also took our group on a trip around the property on a Gator while giving us some interesting history. (Ask about the hidden railroad tracks)! We had a wonderful time staying here!

Excellent!
Our family had plans to be in town and stay at Brenda's rental and due to some unforeseen circumstances we were able to stay. Brenda was kind, generous and completely understanding to our situation. Prior to our arrival her communication was wonderful including all the details we would need to know. Although I never go to meet her I could tell by her correspondence she take great pride in her rental and cares about the needs of her tenants. If we are ever in town again we hope to be able to stay. Thank you!
