"Super clean, quiet, and relaxing. Great place to recharge while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Beautiful secluded location. Rhonda was a great host. Communication with the host was very timely and helpful. Very close to modern conveniences and located in Orchard country. Special visits at the bird feeder of lovebirds and our daughter enjoyed visiting the dogs. Highly recommended."

"The staff were helpful! There was a red stain on the sheet, but they were quick to give a new one! Parking was convenient, the room was relatively clean minus a few spots in the bathroom. Can be very loud, first night had people barbecuing around 8:30 with their family and the noise cut through the walls pretty easily."

"The house is perfectly clean. Also, I want to mention an amazing soundproofing. There are no sounds from another rooms, it is amazing! All bedrooms and dining room are placed on the first floor, so, all rooms are really easy for access and ready for comfortable living. The house is located near Seqoia national forest entrance, but you should be ready for a long time travel. The road is very slow - it is serpentine. We visited that place in June 2026 and I have to say the forest is almost destroyed. But there are some beautiful places near camp Nelson and something else.One negative thought about the place: a lot of the bugs on the yard. Crickets, cockroaches, something else... I felt uncomfortable on the yard, but I understand it is their home. An I must to repeat: the house is perfectly clean!!!So, IMHO, it is 10 from 10 for national forest gateway."

"This ranch is an amazing place, however our stay was for just one night, so we were not able to fully enjoy all the benefits such as the pool, a trail ride, tour of the large ranch property, etc. Maybe next time if we can stay longer. :-)Covered parking space was conveniently right across the driveway from where we stayed. Our accommodations themselves were very homey and clean: small comfy living room, spacious bathroom/shower, a very tiny kitchenette which was It was basically clean except for some of the dishware that looked like they had been only rinsed off, but not fully cleaned, I had to clean a few items before we could use them. The bedroom has a very comfortable king bed (key factor for us!) and sliding door to a covered back porch with a round table and seating for 4 or more. There were also some small appliances that were available on the back porch (mini fridge, waffle maker, etc.) that seemed rather old. We didn't have time to explore these, except for the fridge which did the job keeping our perishables cool. We did get to see a couple of the beautiful horses all saddled up that owner & staff person rode up to the back porch. There are a few friendly dogs & cats wandering around that will keep you company - or not, as you desire. Pool looked clean & inviting as we saw a few guests using it. The high desert scenery is beautiful - a pretty sunset. Quiet place! Lilly was very friendly & responsive via message. Overall a great stay for us. Thank you!"

Step away from the noise of the city and into a country home get away

"This place was actually quite magical. Wish we could have stayed longer. The house conveniently had pretty much everything you could need for making food "at home." Lots of area around the house to explore and a fun little bonus area setup in the garage- great for teens. The property is complete with wildlife (we even saw a fox) and thought the squawking birds were hilarious.Host was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. To note (our fault!): Really look into the directions that maps gives you. There is an easier and smoother way to get there than Google Maps took us through a long, narrow and winding road. Also, just in case you are staying here to visit Sequoia National Park this is not particularly close and it added a lot of driving both directions on to our daily plans. *Not a fan of the required insurance protection, but I guess that's probably normal now."
