"The Don did not disappoint. I’ve lived in Tampa for over 25 years and never took advantage of this gem until this year. The hotel is still recovering from the back to back hurricanes in 2024 but the service, staff, rooms, and amenities were great! "My son and I stayed in a pool side room. Air conditioning was key. We walked everywhere and the free bikes were awesome. Siesta Key Village is right out your door. Food is good at the restaurant. Music is loud so I would avoid "bar" side rooms. Hotel manager is awesome. Short stroll to the beach w/ free beach chairs and wagon. "
