"We were excited to stay at the Blue Star motel for the first time! We’ve always stayed right in town normally and this was a change for us. Our room was absolutely beautiful, so quaint, very clean and very comfortable. Loved the back deck area with pavilion and plenty of space to stretch out. The location was ideal as we could avoid the chaos in downtown Saugatuck and opt for other places to try for shopping and for eating. The Blue Star cafe was delicious! "This is an exceptional property on multiple fronts: location, amenities, layout, and comfort. I would *highly* recommend it for anyone visiting southwest Michigan.
