Wind River Tiny Home ~ Adventures await Yellowstone Tetons Fly Fishing

"A great tiny home. Cozy and comfortable. Full kitchen - refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, pots, pans, everything you need to prepare meals, which is convenient since there is not a lot of options for several miles Plenty of hot water and wifi works well. We used it as a base for hiking the Wind River range, Would definitely return!"
Log Cabin Motel

"We had stayed here before some years ago and like to stay at properties with some history, like this collection of log cabins on the National Register of Historic Places and the oldest lodging in Pinedale. The cabin was cozy but note the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms which might be a turnoff for some. The hosts left oatmeal, coffee and cocoa packets (but only two and there were four of us). Only negatives were a smelly shower curtain and less then ideal cleanliness in the bathroom, and the kitchen sink strainer was nasty. Pinedale is just about 90 minutes (and a lot cheaper for everything from gas to food to lodging) south of hyperexpensive Jackson, so it makes for a good stop on the way to or from Jackson and Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs to the north. Also, there are beautiful lakes in the nearby national forest, abundant wildlife (we saw a doe mule deer and fawn right outside our cabin), and opportunities for water sports, hunting, fishing, birding, and hiking very nearby and much less crowded than the national parks."

"This is a self-check-in property so the staff is not full-time on site. The location is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The style is very welcoming. The beds are super comfortable memory foam and new. I really liked the place and would happily stay again."

"We wish we would have had more time at the property. Unfortunately we got there after dark so wasn’t able to use the fire pit like we would have wished. Staff made it easy to get into our room with the after hours check in. Room was very clean and spacious. We brought our dog and was surprised with how considerate the staff had been for our pup. They provided a couple of treats, poop bags, sheets to cover the beds, and a fun note providing information. When we woke up we couldn’t believe how nice the property was and you couldn’t ask for a better view over the lake. We were in a room with an adjoining door. Kind of felt like they could hear everything from our room and we could hear them. Overall all with our very short time there was very impressed and would like to go back."

"This was a lovely property and we would definitely stay here again! We were welcomed with a delicious plate of cookies!It is the lower level of the house, but you wouldn’t know it: there are large sunny windows with beautiful views! The host’s horse, Flapjack, is friendly & came over to say “hello” in the morning! He is beautiful and allowed pats on the nose. The interior is new & attractive:– very nice kitchen, with new tile and open shelving, nice cabinets, full of dishes and cookware; full-sized refrigerator, gas oven, & a large assortment of spices! It gave our daughter lots of ideas for her house!The bedrooms were large & comfortable, with extra comfy blankets in the closets for late night TV watching in the living room, which has a large flat screen TV & bluetooth speaker.The drive to Jackson was beautiful and not too far. We loved everything about our stay and were so impressed!!"

"This place is perfectly located for endless outdoor adventure, easy relaxing days doing nothing or star gazing at night. The view of the Wind River Mountain range from the lodge is breathtaking, and we were in awe the entire time. The Green River is right there too. The nights are VERY quiet and dark, truly relaxing. Pam and Steve are great and accommodating hosts. They are easily available if you need anything, great to talk to and interesting folks to get to know. We packed our days with several outdoor adventures and found it wonderful to come back to a shower and a cozy evening at the Lodge. The lodge was clean, well organized and comfortable. This stay was perfect in all regards for us and we eagerly plan to return as soon as we can for another wonderful adventure."
