Super friendly staff, clean rooms and with enough space. If you booked the studio room with kitchen you should give notice before arrival in order to get "the Kitchen Kit"; otherwise there is an empty kitchen (no cutlery, pans or plates..)

Great stay, friendly staff. The hotel offers outside and inside space on the top floor for breakfast. Breakfast has a good selection. Room was quite spacious and clean.

It was a nice stay in a basic formula. Tha matresses were not very comfortable, too hard. Parking was perfect, the entrance to the hotel easy. Central situated in the city.

The location is perfect!! 5mins walk to BHF, a supermarket downstairs and plenty of restaurants and cafes within a 2mins walk. The staff are all friendly. The modern interior design is stunning! It was a pleasant experience staying in a clean and quiet room for 5 nights.

Amazing room, great view and incredibly easy. Great facilities with a gym included in the cost of the room. Hotel located very close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance of the train station.

Nice place to stay. Would definitely recommend!

Short stay but very well located. Clean lobby and rooms. Industrial appearance but amazingly nice place. Comfortable room size and nice beds and bathroom. Workout facilities and rooftop bar with food available. Close to train station with shopping and eateries all around. Definitely a repeat if we come back!

Great location! In city center close to shopping and restaurants. Great with garage in the hotel. Very accessible. Nice large rooms. BaseCamp have their hotel rooms on the 5:th and 6:th floor with makes it more like any kind of residential area and not a hotel. So I did miss the "hotel feeling".

Basic rooms but good location. Hard to find car park, but helpful personal instructions. Was early and waited for room but not for long. Thank you. Cleanliness not great, they could do with the hoover reaching the edges. Basic bed and the mattress moves. Lighting poor. No safe. Bathroom dark but OK. Good selection for breakfast.

The stuff are very friendly and helpful; the service is excellent. The only criticism: the kitchenette in the study is completely unequipped. But I think you can get plates or knifes etc. if you ask for it.

Second time staying at a Basecamp and this was as good as the other I stayed at. The rooms are super smart and clean. On arrival I noticed that the pillows and duvet were made with feathers, which I'm allergic to. The front desk staff were super understanding and replaced the bedding quickly for me. Didn't use any of the facilities here as it was just an overnight stay. Just one small thing, the air-con in my room made a dripping sound when it was off at night, a little annoying but I was so tired it didn't bother me. Fantastic place!

Great base to explore Dortmund & visit Westfallenhalle

We stayed here to attend an event at Westfallenhalle & Basecamp provided us a perfect, economical base for this. Metro to the show venue was 2 mins walk from the hotel, the main station was about 15 mins walk. Good shopping, bars & restaurants on the doorstep. Good sized double room with ensuite shower room - all clean, comfortable, efficient and modern. Lift to all floors. Bar/dining room (not open Monday evening). Good choice of buffet items for breakfast (including healthy options) set you up for the day. Decor youthful, industrial chic!

Central location with a supermarket just around the corner. Extra benefit is the gym that has a good standard but read on for suggestions. Where I would like to see improvement is the gym. The sports mat are too short and too few. Some desinfection spray for cleaning would have been good. Last, air condition and the it equipment to run spinning classes in the gym was out of order.

Nearly perfect

Lovely hotel, great aesthetic… but I’ve stayed here twice now in 2 different rooms, and the shower floods all over the bathroom floor. I excused it as a one off but there’s clearly inadequate drainage in the showers. The other major issue is the airflow. There’s some sort of air circulation system keeping fresh air flowing around the hotel. In theory that’s great, but in practice it meant there’s a positive air pressure in every room, you can feel it when you open the window, it bursts open as a bunch of air escapes, if you keep the window closed, you can hear air rushing out through the seal. I’ve never experienced anything like this. The main issue is how loud the whole room is, it’s kind of like being in an air tunnel. The air conditioner was absolutely off just to clarify. Hopefully this is something they can rectify because other than that. It really is a great hotel for great value. Great location too.

Best Hotel staff ever!

Wow! I can not thank the staff enough. They were extremely kind, compassionate and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I was going trough a difficult situation with a lost bag in an Uber and they helped me and showed me they care. My room was always clean. One of the best experiences I have ever had!
