We welcome you to our holiday home Polly. The holiday home "Polly" is a country house completely renovated in 2017 and is located in the North Sea spa Dornum-Dornumersiel directly at the "National Park Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer", since 2009 "UNESCO World Heritage Site". The holiday home is located in an excellent, very quiet residential area in the south of the cosy community of Dornum. The holiday home is located in a small side street with no through traffic and is ideally connected to all directions, whether by car or by bike.
The 840 square metre garden with its two wooden terraces invites you to relax. One terrace can be reached directly from the kitchen, the second directly from the living room. There is also a small barbecue area. A large lawn is also at your disposal.
You can park 3 cars directly at the house, additional parking spaces in front of the house. Your bicycles can be stored in the garage.
From the house it is about 4 kilometres to Dornumsiel. A very well signposted cycle path network leads you to almost every village. The centre of the village, with its historic centre, is about 1000 metres away, where you will find Aldi, Netto and an Edeka market, as well as 2 bakeries. Here you will find the historic castle, the Bock windmill from 1628, the moated castle and the historic church with its Holy organ, which invites you to the night organ every Friday. The North Sea resort of Dornumersiel is located directly on the North Sea coast with a breathtaking panoramic view of the offshore islands of Baltrum and Langeoog. Everything is close together and within easy walking distance: the sandy and green beach with children's playground, football and beach volleyball pitches, with surfing zone and kite meadow, the heated outdoor seawater pool, the campsite on the North Sea beach and the cutter and yacht harbour. The centrepiece of Dornumersiel is the idyllic "Mahlbusen" reservoir, which is ideal for strolling, boating and fishing. The SeeparkWest, a modern themed spa park, charmingly connects the fishing village with the harbour and beach area. In the village itself there are restaurants and cafés serving regional delicacies such as fish, salt marsh veal, lamb, home-baked East Frisian cake and aromatic East Frisian tea. Neßmersiel is the smallest seaside resort on the East Frisian North Sea coast with a wide range of leisure activities for families, those seeking relaxation and holidaymakers with dogs. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of nature all around, this is the perfect place to stay. The ferry harbour to Baltrum is approx. 1.5 km away and is the starting point for numerous mudflat hikes to the islands of Baltrum and Norderney. Lean back and take in the wonderful view - the viewing platform at the harbour with a magnificent panoramic view of the North Sea and the East Frisian islands of Norderney, Baltrum and Langeoog is a tempting place to do just that. The village itself has restaurants, a seasonal supermarket, bike hire and fishing facilities. For your physical well-being, a wide range of restaurants in the Dorfstraße offer fresh fish and other regional dishes.
