REVIEWS: Cozy evenings after a day outdoors 10/10 Excellent Perfect Cabin close to the lake! We have been coming to this cabin for a few years now and we love it. It's perfect for our family. We love how close it is to the boat ramp. We love going sledding there during the winter. My children love going to this cabin and watching movies, relaxing and playing games. The cabin itself is beautiful. It's a great set up and very open. - TROY G.
10/10 Excellent Great cabin!! This cabin was just right for us. We had 2 families and the 2 bedrooms upstairs and the loft area were great for the kids. The tv was nice. We were able to stream although we couldn’t get wi-fi. The kitchen had everything we needed and even a crockpot. When I first saw the rules from the rental company I was worried that they seemed strict but everything was fine. What made a difference for us was the local contact, Erica. She was very helpful and quick to reply. She helped us with our questions and was flexible with us on check in which helped immensely. We would rent here again. - Catherine M.

This place has everything you need, including WiFi which was nice because I had some work I needed to do. It was really nice that the beach is such a short walk from the house- we had a great time there!
Very comfortable and cozy spot. Perfect for our family of 8. Great proximity to the lake. Only feedback would be to add a coffee maker, window screens (so windows can be open on hot days), and a bbq.

Perfect Cabin close to the lake!
We were looking for a quiet place to work from home away from it all, and this place was perfect! WiFi worked great and there was space to spread out. Appliances are a little dated, but we were expecting it. The best part is the short walk down to the lake! The fire pit and ping pong table were nice bonuses too.
This was a great place to stay for our family. We really enjoyed the close by beach and ping pong table. The house was clean and comfortable. The fire pit was also an added bonus for roasting s’mores. Communication with the care taker was prompt and a few issues we had were handled quickly. Thank you Erica!

Wish it had the ping-pong table... And the beds need one blanket not three layer of them sheet that ride up your ass all night .. lol
Perfect location & setup for 2 guys ice fishing & snowmobiling. 100 yards to state boat launch & public access, so no towing. Snowbound outside , so no grill. Also, not a foodie oriented kitchen. Adequate for basic cooking, but bring your gear if you want to really cook. Would recommend that the owner dump the electric coil range/even (the 2 largest burners would not heat up), with a functional & upgraded model. If I was cooking for a family, I could not get it done on that stovetop...
Clean & comfy. Nice beds, plenty of room & love the ping pong table. Five stars despite the Cr...y stove.
There was not enough toilet paper, so I called and was told she would bring some the next morning. She never showed up and never responded to calls and text.
After inquiring before booking on gas grill availability there was none when we arrived. All of our meals were based on grilling. Thankfully a fully equipped vrbo others in family booked worked. Had to transport food there! Kitchen sink faucet bathed us every time it turned on! Fire alarm upstairs had battery beeping whole time... no response from property manager when reported. No screens on windows to ventilate house at 85 degrees. No WiFi available. No fire in pit as everything in yard totally overgrown and was too dangerous with not even a screen. I suggest owners take notice and put some care into this house
The property was not as nice as we were expecting but there was plenty of room for the family, everything we needed was in the cabin except for a/c and direct tv, and the location was amazing. It was a great place for what it was - a beachside cabin and we enjoyed our stay.
Everything was as expected with the exception of the lack of firewood for the stove. Due to to loft area and vaulted ceilings, the main living space and downstairs rooms were very cold. We did get our own wood and the second night was much warmer. We also left the rest of wood for future use.
The host was very friendly and quick to respond. The house is really cute, loved the cozy feel. The stove didn’t cook at temp it said it was at so took a bit longer, the downstairs bathroom doorknob was broken so the door wouldn’t latch shut, and the front porch steps are raised and tipped backwords for some reason so was hard for parents to use (bad knees). Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Reunion
I thought it was more expensive than should have been for being a more simple cabin. I paid for the cabin. I paid taxes. I paid a cleaning fee. I paid a processing fee.
I pay cleaning fees but am expected to take trash out (I understand during our stay but at the end) and start laundry. Why am I paying cleaning fees if I am asked to start the laundry also.
The internet did not work. I sent a text but no real answer nor support. I did get a response back about fires.
Mattresses probably need updated.
Underneath the refrigerator was quite dirty.
The stove elements seemed to be under-powered (my opinion).
We did have a good time. We had room. There were other good things.
This property had a leaking toilet, broken washer and dryer, was dirty and the description did not match the conditions. They use pictures that misrepresent the home. They also said there was a dvd collection and there was not. I tried reaching out to the owner but never heard back. I would like a refund.
We had a wonderful stay. This cabin is totally kid friendly with highchair, baby gate, toys...you name it, they had it. Even had bumper guards on ping pong table! The fire pit was exactly as it should be for a cabin, with plenty of room around it for chairs. Definitely would stay again.
